Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. You are the very first Big Daddy as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Multiplayer in BioShock 2 provides a rich prequel experience that expands the award-winning BioShock gameplay. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject in the underwater city that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players will need to use all the elements of the game's toolset to survive as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture.

The best Bioshock by far, anyone missing out on this is a fool, no offense but you just are :P

Game Settings and Recommendations:
Widescreen, do not purchase unless you can play Widescreen or in HD, you will have a very unpleasant time trying to read the text, I know as I have had a Fullscreen 4:3 TV at one point.

Requires approximately 5GB (same as Bioshock 1) to install, install time will be lengthy but don't worry you can leave it, nothing will pop up, it will just take you to the main menu until you are ready to play, so feel free to walk away and do something else!.

Unlock Frames Per Second in the options menu ingame, it does not degrade visual quality on a PS3 and makes it run 50% better.

I do recommend greatly you play it on 'Hard' too, not that 'Normal' wouldn't be difficult, but Hard is just more realistic.

Multiplayer is good, but single player obviously works better, you'd have to play Multiplayer to learn how it works, cannot be explained simply lol

Gameplay = 9.3/10
Sound = 9.8/10 (only one sound glitch, you probably wouldn't even notice!)
Graphics = 9.0/10
Animation = 9.9/10 (for the most part smooth, but there are one or two things underwater that do not move, for example; plants, but hardly noticed and most do).

 Its good to be in Rapture again!

At first i was a little worried that your a Big daddy this time round and wasnt sure how it would work out.

But theyve managed to craft such a good storyline about bigdaddys and little sisters that everything is totally believable, this game progresses what Rapture is all about so much, so its definetely worth getting if your a fan of the first bioshock!

Decisions you make in the game affect the outcome of events later on in the game, a bit like the first game but more in depth, i wont delve in too much as i do not want to spoil the game, but they are interesting choices to make morally...

The graphics are great but i cant help but feel some of the textures have been tuned down in some places but i think its due to the fact theyres alot more going on the screen this time round and they didnt want any slowdown, it doesnt ruin the experience at all, its still top notch and it adds to the whole atmosphere!

There is some really good area's/levels to explore and i was hooked and obsessed with searching every nook and cranny for bits of ammo, Audio diaries and tonics!

As with the first the Splicer dialogue is chilling to hear and its just awesome to listen to their insane ramblings, it puts you on edge because you'll suddenly be jumped on from behind! The Audio diaries are excellent and i enjoyed listening to all of them, theres a few bits of dialogue with nods to the character you played in the first game too!

The best thing i loved about the combat is the Drill you have! Its awesome, especially the charge/dash attack, you'll see splicers smashed right up into the air, or you can drill their faces off, its a bloody massacre! The combat overall is very good, but i still struggle to aim well with Bioshocks system, but the plasmids and weapons are all fun!

I havent had much time with the multiplayer but it appears to be very good and timesplitters like. You have a level up system and you can unlock new weapons and plasmids! You can customize your character and theyres quite a few different multiplayer modes.

Overall its a great atmospheric experience and great fun to play, if not alittle too similer to the first game, but thats not a bad thing.. it took me quite a long time to complete, i played it quite solid for over a week, it doesnt need to be any shorter or longer, its just right, the multiplayer will keep you going for ages...

Now will you kindly buy this game.. ;)

I loved the first Bioshock. It took me a little while to fully embrace the strange gameplay style, but once I did, I discovered a fantastic title full to the brim with rich, intriguing narrative and fast-paced, varied combat.

Everything that Bioshock 1 introduced you to, Bioshock 2 expands on. You assume control of "Subject Delta", the first ever Big Daddy and as such, inherit all the abilities and weaponry that comes with it. My personal favourite is the Rivet Gun, which literally fires industrial-grade bolts normally used for construction (The drill is great too, but it's difficult to master due to the amount of ranged enemies in the game).

The online multiplayer is pretty fun too, the only down-side being occasional lag (it's the same story with all games like this - when a game is developed around gameplay and immersion rather than out and out multplayer - e.g. CoD or Halo). You gain the use of different Plasmids and Tonics as you gain experience points and rank up, and as you do, you will also obtain access to stronger and more varied weapons.

This is a must buy for anyone who liked the first.

Another great masterpiece, Bioshock 2 is in my opinion better than the first one. The world of rapture has been improved from the first one and visually looks brilliant. I was afraid that by the game having a multiplayer mode that the single player would be under looked but it hasn't been.

Game of this year, you will not be disappointed by it.
