I really enjoyed the previous title on the PS2. The follow up has taken every element that worked, and expanded into some new dimensions, making it even richer for wannabe dog fighters and WWII pilots out there. The graphics are better, but still not nearly maxing out what the PS3 can do though. I love the arcade type gameplay, as it doesn't take long to master, but is challenging enough to demand attention and learning throughout. Just try ACE, and tell me its easy! This is NOT a game for sim freaks out there though. But if you love a game that you can pick up relatively quickly, and start smashing up some planes, buildings, boats, cars, and basically anything that moves - whilst flying at warp speed through sharp turns and barrel rolls - DO IT! Love it, and enjoyed the whole game.

       Great era

I still think they need to do a next gen WW1 flight sim although maybe WW2 is where planes changed the outcome of wars for the first time. The control method is complex enough to make you feel your in a plane but easy enough to feel in control. The trouble is with modern planes you lock on a heatseeker and its goodbye foe way to easy this has the dogfight and grit the pilots faced at this time. Best flight sim I have played although I have no idea how good IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey is which is the alternative. i picked up my copy for 20 and must say it is very good and am sure just like the film Titanic your not goes to get any suprises here
