Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 (PlayStation Move Compatible)

TW-PGA11 is absolutely greatest golf game ever! I skipped TW-PGA10 and played PGA09 two years before going to PGA11. The game has been improved a lot from v09. I especially liked new Experience & Attribute system and a new Shot Focus system.

Instead of earning cash, you now get XP for your actions on the course. That XP can be doled out to attributes just like before, but this year you can reallocate points if needed. Experience & Attribute system is separated into ten different attributes within the four familiar categories of power, accuracy, control, and putting - but also to purchase new items.

Show Focus is what allows you to add that extra boost to the ball, increase the spin speed/direction, use your putt previews as well as increase your accuracy which is something I will get to shortly. Be careful with it though, as focus will deplete as you take advantage of that extra boost, or those multiple putt previews to save birdie. Once your focus is spent you will lose all of those abilities until it recharges. Focus will recharge on any shot where an enhancement was not used and will continue to do so over the course of your round. Next time you are thinking of going for the green think of laying up and saving your focus and ensure a solid putt preview because you might not have it.

One interesting feature is True-Aim option that can be turned on to take PGA11 to some of the most authentic golfing experience to date. When True-Aim is set to on, the way the game is played takes a more realistic approach to golf and eliminates the Zoom to Aim functionality.

When you begin a round using True-Aim the HUD will look similar to that of regular play, although you will notice that the information HUD in the lower right no longer show the swing percentage and hole distance but now only shows the carry distance for the current club selected.

At last but not least: Ryder Cup; Choose from the U.S. or European squad and participate in the various competition formats - foursomes where players hit alternate shots, fourballs and singles which traditionally bring the biennial event to a close with players going head to head. When playing The Ryder Cup mode offline, gamers will have the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches.

With all EA Sports games I tend to miss out a year as I find nothing much changes from one year to another. The last TW I had was 2009 and must say 2011 is top notch!. The new addition of the Ryder Cup is just brilliant and the new swing feature True Aim.

I`m finding it very hard to put this game down at the moment with hours and hours of single player and great multiplayer what more could a golfing fan want. The reason I gave it a 4/5 was of a few things. Once you start a round you have to finish it there is no save option to allow you to come back to the hole where you left of incase you have to nip out for 10 minutes etc. The mulitplayer has a few bugs, one being some people are saying they have a few dissconects and others say they have probs connecting to matches in the lobby..I have only had a couple of times witnessed the lobby issues. My other little moan is that there is one camera angle when you drive off the tee which doesnt show your ball of flight, so for 3-4 seconds your wondering... "where the hell is my ball gone!!" while wating for the words of... "its in the short stuff!" or "its out of bounds!!!". But, this camera angle isn`t used all the time and its no biggy.

Best golf game on the market and a must for any golfing fan, you wont be dissapointed!.

Tiger does it again!

Its ok,I wouldnt want to spend the full price on it, I brought it when it was on sale. Its very frustrating, your own player starts off rubbish and its hard to level him up because he is so bad. I can see me neeeding to replace a couple of controllers after playing this game as they have flown around the room a few times!
There isnt much choice of clubs either, not as much as I expected anyway. They should also have an option where you can create your own courses, so you can go around your own personal local ones, I think that would be great!
All in all its good if you like golf, however the putting system is a bit weird.

Without doubt the greatest sports game i have ever played and maybe the best game i have ever played.
It has everything from great normal gameplay to online genius with loads of extra courses to download and great graphics of the courses, ok some of the players animations are not great but that does not distract, if you have not bought this get it you will not be dissapointed.

Good day to you, I previously had Tiger Woods 10 which was an excellent game, Tiger 11 is excellent as well. One of the new plays this year is the addition of the Ryder Cup I just beat the USA and found it challenging and enjoyable competiting over foursomes, fourball and singles, only drawback is it dosen't show the overall score on the main screen so you don't know how close you are to glory overall good fun and not stinky at all!

The Graphics look amazing especially the water on the lakes and rivers yes you heard me right rivers! check out Wolf Creek which is a new course that event donald duck would like! The players graphics are rubbish compared with Tiger 10 Tiger looks nothing like himself, he looked more real in Tiger 10 so thats a downer on this years, It has been a tough 6 months I guess for Tiger what with the revelations etc so I will let him off! Online is good as well. No longer can you always rely on 'putt preview' this time you have a focus circle the more you use of it the less likely you can use putt preview which is good as it makes it harder. Overall another masterpiece with the lacking of some minor things. Good show Tiger!
