WWE: Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009

I downloaded the demo on Friday from the Playstation Network and was blown away it.
Its amasing how easy the controls were enabling me, Playing as Jeff Hardy, to do Swanton Bombs and Wisper in the Winds which were near on impossable on the previous game.
The current listing of superstars that hve been release from the company who have produced this is a tad out of date, they have CM Punk listed as the World Heavyweight champs, Zak Ryder and Curt Hawking as the Tag champs, No Diva title, and unusually Maria is listed as the womans champ [For those that dont follow wwe, Maria has never been womans champ ever] but this is made up by the announcement that there will be downloadable superstars avalable including Ted Dibiase JR, and Manu.
Im hoping that the bugs from last year will be eliminated, but going on the demo version this should be the best sdVr yet.

I have downloaded the demo on ps3, and it is really good! The tag teams matches are so much better than any wrestling game before.
If you are a wrestling fan you should definately get this game!

I bought this game for the offline multiplayer and it didn't disappoint.
me and my friends play it alot. Especially the royal rumble's. Multiplayer offline and online is good.
but the lack of any storyline is slightly disappointing.
Career mode is rubish... the only reason to play it is to up the stats of your custom wrestler... and the road to wrestlemania only gives you a choice of 6 wrestlers .... one of them being the tag partnership of mysterio and batista to play as.
But graphics are good, gameplay is good and the soundtrack is ok.
I enjoyed the road to wrestlemania mode because my two fav superstars are Mysterio & Batista (look above)
There is alot of talk about not alot changing from the last game game but i havnt played a wrestling game since smackdown 2 so i cant really say anything!
All i can say is good multiplayer game that has rekindled my interest in wrestling

Played the demo and it is pure class. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is very good. When you look at the entrances, you will be amazed at the detail.

This will be one of the best games out this year.

Having downloaded the demo, i think that i can safely say that wwe smackdown vs. Raw 2009, is without question going to be the best wrestling game of 2008, which is not saying much as the only other one released this year was the very poor tna impact.

If you are a fan of wrestling games, then you must get this game, as the updated tag team match is the bomb. I'm also can't wait to se how create a finisher and highlight reel modes turn out.

Bottom line: This game will kick ass.
