Tekken 2 was the First game I ever owned and I liked the character stories and I've been waiting for this game for the longest time now, and I was expecting a lot, I just wanted the story's but they don't really focus on the story's the fights for the story's are short in # but the graphics are Great.

you Have to play campaign mode to unlock characters if you want to see their story

Load time (yes this bothers me, because its long enough that there is an awkward silence if other ppl are around watching)

The subtitles are crazy small and hard to read, what are the Tekken ppl thinking? after playing 6 other Tekken games my eyes aren't what they used to be.

looks good

story mode battles are quick

this game will keep you entertained for hours

  Not the best tho

Even I adore Tekken game but this is really not the best Tekken I have ever experienced. The Scenario Campaign is a bit dull, The online mostly lags when you tried to fight other people

Sorry Namco, I respect ya but you need to improve it next time.

even, if you are a really big Tekken fan, go buy it

As a huge Tekken fan I was so excited to play this game. My mood soon changed when reality kicked into play. The game is frustrating even on easy mode where the AI just keep repeating the same moves over and over again. Long long loading times I mean come on the graphics are good but not groundbreaking. Some of the fighters are just becoming a joke especially the main boss. A giant bird made out of crystals you never know if your hitting him or not while he keeps repeating the same moves feeling like your wasting your time. I am so gutted about this feel like Namco really lets us down as much as we want to love the game, but its just not there. If your a big fan and you really need this for your collection then by all means buy it it wont be long before its a dust collector on your shelf. If you have the chance to rent it then I would recommend doing this rather than buying. Or if you are going to, I would not spend more than ten or fifteen pounds on this game. I was so looking forward to beating up some people and find im playing unreal animals and pushing buttons without much happening. To be honest I would rather have my head stuck in the past remembering how Tekken used to be. Without this game named as Tekken you could see its just a cash in for your lovely money. Save it, there are much better games to have your money spent on.

  This is Tekken!?

I used to love playing on the first Tekken's for PS1 and the arcade versions simply because it was casual fighting. The campaign mode is a disaster because the controls are hard and annoying, the graphics aren't up to date, the most spoken language through the game is Japanese, the combo's are not good, the fighting just isn't the same as it used to be. I think that Namco tried to exspand the true meaning of Tekken and failed pretty badly. Really dissapointed in this game. Hope Namco learn from the mistakes they put into this game.

I bought this while feeling nostalgic one day. From the ages of approximately 9 - 15, beat 'em ups like Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat and Tekken were some of the best games money could buy. By all rights, Tekken 6 is superior in every way but I just wouldn't recommend it for adults. You just get nowhere near the level of satisfaction from these games as you used to and you just end up feeling disappointed.

Im reluctant to give it 1 or 2 stars because I think kids would love it so I'll summarize by saying that if you're in your 20s, don't bother with this and put your money toward something like Assasins Creed 2 or the latest COD.

this is the best tekken game made. Every character (exept the not so popular) that has been in tekken plus new are in it! with their own uniqe moves. and now you can almost create youre own character with new clothes and hairstyles and more. And the new adventure mode is really great to! With good graphics, good characters and really good fighting! this is still number 1 in the fighting game world!

being a devoted fan of the tekken series itslef as soon as i heard bout this game i was excited but does it live up to the excitement??

for me it dosent because the main part of the game (scenario campaign mode) wasent the best idea i have seen so thats why it isnt the greatest one. But if you are a fan dont hesitate to get it..

Dont see what all the fuss is about

Dont get me wrong its a good game but im kind of dissapointed at the pace of it. Compared to the old games of the series and other fighting games, its a bit slow paced. Other than that its a decent game with great graphics.

  Can it get any better?

The game is totaly crazy. Best fighting game ever. Online mode is just excelent aswell as the graphics. Campaign mode has some cam bugs that are already known but that wont make the battle worst. A bit easy to win all trophies though. Besides those two parts the game in my opinion is just perfect.
