Warhawk (with PS3 Headset) (PS3)

i had the chance to play the beta, i'm really impressed.. it was not a game i thought much of till i had the chance to play it... this is a online only, anyone looking for a single player campaign should maybe give it a miss.. This is one of the best online games i have played for a long time..

As stated it's a very good game with lots of different game modes and a frantic pace in game.

On the floor combat, planes and tanks gives it more variety which is good and there are lots of weapons to get used to and enjoy.

The only problem, and for me a huge problem. Is that the online facilities are just pathetic. No easy wat of joining a ranked game, no message facilitiy between buddies. No way of starting a party. Meaning clans are pointless and its not easyplaying with friends.

Overall its a good game, but concidering it's an online only game, what a joke.

Sort it out sony your so far behind Live its unreal. If only they used the FROM online, that's all it needed!

Warhawk is the best game for you if you love non-stop action, memorable moments, playing with mates and honest fun. The graphics are spectacular and there is a great balance of weapons from flamethrowers to artillery strikes. The planes (or Warhawks) are fun to pilot and the jeeps and tanks are great too. Because it is only online every match is different and this means you will never get tired of it. You can meet up with friends and work together, or just mess eachother around. You can advance up through the ranks and get 'Bandit', 'Master' and 'Warhawk' versions of all the weapons and some free downloads give more weapons to the arsenal. By the way the above trailer is a poor representation of the game as it is a few years old and the game is very different now. There is no offline single player, but who cares! It might have been rubbish anyway. So overall, this game is incredible. Varied gameplay and weapons, cool vehicles and limitless replay value make this an excellent reason to buy a PS3. This game is so much fun. There's so much to do and so many ways to do it, It'll keep you busy and shouting at your tv for hours.

Im a pc gamer first and comming from games like battlfield 2142 and others alike i was very skeptical about this game. So i decided to pick up a ps3 and then downloaded this game. What a good decision.

Gameplay is so fun, many of my freinds have this game and we play online together, the added mic support jus adds to the effect controls of war hawks and vechiles are very tight, easy to pick up and play. Graphics are not great but they are well above average, I have yet to see a graphical glitch and yet to lag.

Overall this game is a must buy for any ps3 owner out there. and is just what the doctor ordered for a console which is lacking great games at the moment.
