Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA are taking the fight to Helghan. Their goal: to capture the Helghast leader, Emperor Visari, and bring the Helghast war machine to a halt. You assume the role of Sev, a battle-hardened veteran and a member of the special forces unit known as the Legion.

For Sev and his squad, the invasion of Helghan is just beginning. Tasked with securing Pyrrhus, the Capital City, they quickly discover that the Helghast are a formidable enemy on their home planet. Not only have they adjusted to the planet's hostile conditions, they have also harnessed a source of power they can now use against the ISA.

Sev and his squad aren't just fighting the enemy forces - their fiercest opponent is the planet itself.

Welcome to Helghan, soldier!
  • Suitable for 18 years and over. Not for sale to persons under age 18. By purchasing this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age and over.
  • Experience realistic, highly atmospheric environments that respond dynamically to the violent conditions on Helghan
  • Witness the devastating effects of Helghan's climate as it forces you and your enemies to adapt to new tactics
  • Face off against fearsome enemies who have learned to wield the hostility of Helghan itself against their opponents
  • Operate new and exotic weapons and vehicles, in addition to trusty Killzone classics like the M82-G and the StA-52 LAR

The good always comes to whom they wait!!!

First was shown on E3 2005, the graphics was so incredible that everyone assumed it was pre-rendered and not an actual footage of the game. It was absent on E3 2006 but then it was shown to public at E3 2007. The demo which was real time this time was close to what was shown at E3 2005 and jaw droppingly beautiful.

Now after 3 years it finally coming to PS3. I got my hands on the beta and i gotta tell you this was in fact the best multiplayer i ever played. So if the multiplayer graphics are so good you already know how outstanding the single player presentation will be.

So what about the graphics, as a gamer who seen all best graphical games such as crysis, doom3 and half-life 2, not that the technology is comparable in those titles but how well it is implemented.

Crysis was in my opinion the best technology ever used in a game but Killzone 2 has all you want a game to look like.

The shadows and lighting is spectacular and blood spattered around is so real. Also the environments looks are fantastic. This game has won special commendation for best graphic 2 years in a row which is a record! the game graphics is so cinematics.

Guerilla games has put effort to make multiplayer aspect of he game as good as the single player and that is inspiring!

 BEST FPS EVER MADE

I have played the beta of this game, halo 3, cod4, cod world at war, resistance 2 and many other shooter games but this is the best shooter game i have ever played by far. The graphics are stunning, the detail is stunning, the animations are stunning, the physics are stunning, the cutscenes are stunning, the online is amazing and the story mode is brilliant! If your a fan of first person shooters or are new to the fps genre i seriously recommend this game! 10/10

Playing the beta just blew any other FPS i've played out of the water. All the hype for this game is well deserved. I encounted some problems in the beta although it is called a "beta" for a reason. It's insane. CoD4, WaW will perish when this is out, i'll soon list mine to playtrade as soon as this game is out! Insane a must get.

In reply to the person asking about the beta .. The beta testing is over.

 AMAZING!!!

I played the demo at a mates house and i'm pretty much sold. Just bought a ps3, and honestly, if....
Halo: Combat evolved
Then...
Killzone 2: War perfected
