Fight Night Round 3

picked this game up cheap was not expecting much but what a game i very hardly play boxing games but i must say this a good game to play.

the 2 player matches are good fun when u have the lads over for a few drinks over all a good perches on a good game very fun.

Usually not one for boxing games but this game is amazing hands down. The graphics are stunning can see the sweat and blood. And it's all close up action, feels a lot more realistic. The career is good but somewhat lacking in parts. The customization of a boxer is a very good feature. Amazing game though, playing with friends would keep you entertained for hours on end.

The main feature on this game is the graphics. They are simply fantastic. Play this on on a 1080p through HDMI and it'll KO you in 1 round!!

The gameplay is very smooth, alot more tactics are involved, not like Fight Night Round 2 where it was like a Rocky film.. Although you'll still find on this Fight Night that you'll have a 100% KO record.

The career is a little bit of a let down as you don't really have much of a choice in regards to controlling your boxers career path, You can't choose in certain parts of your career where you want to go.. Another downside is the licensed fighters in your weight are coming through just like you and you can end up fighting them a million times and your main rival (I fought mine 7 times over my career!!) Good thing is the many ways you can customise your boxer, from what you wear to physical appearance.

I still think that had the KO Kings 2001 (from PS2) had the gameplay we see today and a better career mode, it would be an all round great.. Realism is also important, intro's by Jimmy Lennon Jr or Michael Buffer, introducing the fighters in each corner, real commentators..

Hopefully Fight Night Round 4 can pick up on a few flaws, but still this game is worth buying!!! Play it on a home cinema set.. BOOM!!!

FNR3 is a pretty good game. The fighters looks extremely good, though other graphics like the ringsside graphics look like theyve comes straight off the PS2, but thats not why Ive given it a 4. Its just still a bit too easy even on the hardest leveland the absence of certain fighters make it a bit watered down. That said, its a great game to play and the controls are identical tot he PS2 version which are uncomplicated and unfussy. Well worth buying as a warm up to FNR4

Best boxing game so far i really cant wait for round 4 as its introducing more realism to the punch control !! As punches can be missed ...... Lets be honest anytime you can control the outcome between a fight lets say between calzaghe and mayweather cant be bad bring on round 4 !!!

Graphics are excellent!
Gameplay is solid- intuitive stick control or simple button control

Would have given this game 5 stars, but again EA have failed to include Tyson!!! But thankfully Round 4 will change that!

Since ive had my PS3 ive been preoccupied with loads of games and have about 40 titles and then when i remembered about his game i came on play.com and I was seriously hyped when i saw fight night for £17 so i ordered it that second, the game is seriously amazing

This game is the bees knees. On-line against friends its an absolute cracker, so much fun to be had and taunting to be done. Gets better and better the more you play. Excellent commentary, graphics and music. Controls take a while so read the manual and practice. 10/10

Always have been a boxing fan! on ps2 had this game & now on ps3,has its different bits as it should once it came out on a different computer.Is very good once your in a career fighting your way from amateur to pro.can take loads of the day up.a wouldn't not have it in my collection.10/10 game 4 me!

the graphics are top notch and the gameplay is good but i think in terms of the life span of this game its very short. I think from playing all 3 of the fight night series round 2 was the best with the ranking system in carrer mode which is not available in this game. I am also very dissapointed that boxers like Floyd Mayweather jr didnt show up in this game and boxers like Kelly Pavlik and Joe Calzaghe. My opinion if you have played fight night round 2 and you play this game sure the graphics from this game are remarkable but you wil be dissapointed at the range of things you can do in carrer mode . I think you should just wait for Fight Night round 4 to come out
