Having been a hardcore MGS fan since the beginning, I felt I just had to play this, and I was not dissapointed. I bought a PS3 just to play this game, and it was worth every penny.

Firstly, the graphics, in short, are incredible. The visuals really help to immerse the gamer and it really feels like you are right there in the action. The character models, lighting and textures are flawless. I found no graphical faults throughout my several playthroughs. The Octo-camo is insane how it adapts to the surface you are on, it really looks convincing.

The gameplay itself is excellent. There is no set path to follow, and the enemy AI is not scripted, meaning it will adapt to how YOU decide to play the game, and not how the developers wanted you to play it. Go in all guns blazing, take all the enemies out silently, or just try to avoid any combat, its up to you, and will change the gameplay.

Finally, the audio is very convincing, from the battlefield sounds, to voice acting, it is very well done and is best used with surround sound.
