Gone has the horror, and I thought this was supposed to be the Granddaddy of Survival Horror. That goes to a title that has the initials SH !!! Shhh!
A good solid game if annoying in places.
The gameplay is good but the usual RESI style of movements...sluggish! If you need injecting by your partner, it is difficult to know which way you are turning after you are healed.
Most of the enemies are very easy to dispose of, however, others, like the Reaper and the good ol' Licker can be a pain.
Most of the bosses are fairly easy as well, although the final boss is nails. Prepare to die, alot.
Great graphics and cutscenes. However, it seems to be trying to do a MGS4 but falls a bit short. Whereas MGS4 was outstanding in it's execution, Res 5 feels a bit laboured at times.
An enjoyable romp through the Resi universe as usual, but considering we had to wait so long, this should have been a 5 star game and I just can't give that score, I'm afraid. Better luck with Resi 6.
what an improvment!

I have never been the grestest fan of Resident Evil as i find these kind of 1 players games boring, not it wasnt if it wasnt a good game it just was not my cup of tea, but making this game a two player coop experience has moved it to the next level and set a standard for all two player games to come. I only hope the next resident evil is two player coop otherwise it will never be as good as this one, i have longed for a 2 player game like this to play with my brother, 5 star from me for the first time for a RES game
Not great

If you're expecting to be terrified when playing this game like the other ones before it, you'll be disappointed! It isn't scary in the slightest and there is no atmosphere whatsoever. And I'd thought they'd have learned from RE Zero that having a partner is just downright annoying if anything! It's not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but as far as the Resident Evil series goes this probably ranks at the bottom.
