World Snooker Championship 2007 boasts 104 of the World's best snooker players, with ten official tournaments all realistically modelled for the 2007 season. Can you take Shaun Murphy to another stunning World Championship win? Or will you be able to bring Ronnie O' Sullivan back to form at the table to regain his titles?
A host of new features compliment the title this year. In addition to the snooker offering, Blade Interactive have added the greats from the world of Pool. World Snooker Championship 2007 boasts a comprehensive pool experience where you can play 9 and 8-ball competitions. Play as or against an array of the World's best pool players, and take on 10 major Pool tournaments, including the Mosconi Cup and the World Pool Championships. You can also show off your true skills in a Trickshot Championship - step up and pull off your favourite crowd pleasers from a vast selection of trickshots.
The new Golden Cue mode will allow you to mix the different cuesports within each match, so now you can test your versatility by taking on Ronnie O'Sullivan in frames of Snooker, Pool and more, all within the same match!
World Snooker Championship 2007 further improves the authenticity of the franchise with a new positional play feature. You can now position the cueball with greater accuracy than ever before, helping you to make advanced safety shots for better defensive play. The create-a-player mode has also seen dramatic improvements, allowing you to customise the star of the future.

Not the best of games, i thought it would be the best snooker game out, but the graphics are not 100%, the snooker cue goes throught the ball, being on the ps3 i would have thought that things would be pretty much spot on, the commentry isnt very good, there is no manual save option so its autosave or nothing, there is a fairly annoying circle while u play telling you where the white should end up giving more advanced players no challenge. I have to say its the biggest waste of money i have spent this year, it wouldnt be so bad with a price tag under £20, if you want this game fot the ps3 you might aswell get the ps2 version, im sure graphics woulnt be much diffrence, hope this review helps you all out

First of all i am an offical xmb player, now on the xbox 360 this game just dies, graphics, commentry nd actual gameplay. but when this was transferred to the ps3 i had to have a play, n its a much better challenge, in the career it will take you weeks to master n to start winning consistently. as for playing with a friend its great nd doesn t have the lag like the 360. well worth 39.99, and does what other games on the ps3 dont do nd actually last you a long time n keeps you enteretained, falls short of 5 stars because its of the hybrid mini-games but for people that aren t sad nd actually want to have fun this is a great game!!!

One of the best games out of ps3! Graphics are very good, but will improve in 08,Gameplay is the best thing about this game though.stages you have to go through to be come a champion.can create your own player & work your way up2 the top.snooker or 8 ball & 9 ball pool can play so many different games to chose from!hours fly by when playing & taking shots.i watch it on tv when its usually on but sometimes get bored when there take to long, but in the game when playing it yourself its not close to boring!a must have in any1s collection!

     For snooker fans only!

A great addictive game. Graphics 7/10, playability 9/10. If your a snooker fan, you would love this. Its really achievable to get decent breaks, as you will know where the cue ball goes after the shot so you can line up for the next ball. My mate has now bought this game, and its a laugh playing online. Lots of may other pool games on here to. You can also play in career mode too which is cool. Defo worth a tenner.

     Excellent game!!!!!!!!

Bought this game not expecting much to be honest after reading some mixed reviews, but I knew I couldnt go wrong buying for this price. For £5.99 its an absolute bargain.

Been playing since yesterday and the controls & gameplay are quite easy to get used to once you start concentrating. The only reason I have given it 4 stars out of 5, is because today its crashed 3-4 times while loading. Not sure if this is a problem with my ps3 or the game, but it doesnt happen with any other game, so I assume its an issue with this game.

The other slight let down, is the commentry from John Virgo, He's a good commentator but on this game he's constantly dropping silly jokes, that get seriously annoying after playing for a few hrs. Comments like, 'Oops I've lost my pen, OH NO there it is'. Its so ridiculous.

But overall its a very good game and a must for any snooker fan. Not sure if it would of been worth paying full price for it though. Glad I bought it however, very happy with the game & price!

Play should do offers like that more often!
