Experience the relentless tension and gut-wrenching dilemmas of life as a double agent. Lie. Kill. Sabotage. Betray. All to protect the innocent. How far will you go to gain the enemy's trust? As covert operative Sam Fisher, you must infiltrate a vicious terrorist group and destroy it from within. You'll need to carefully weigh the consequences of your actions. Kill too many terrorists and you'll blow your cover. Hesitate and millions will die. Do whatever it takes to complete your mission, but get out alive.

Double agent gameplay and branching storyline: Play both sides and decide between opposing NSA and terrorists objectives. You choose who's priorities to support, and who's to undermine. Your actions affect the story and gameplay, leading to shockingly different endings.

The one review that doesn't compare it to Call of Duty 4!

AWESOME. I wish everyone would stop comparing EVERY game on the Playstation 3 to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It's ridiculous, yes COD4 is absolutely AMAZING and probably the best game on PS3, but Splinter Cell Double Agent is an amazing game in itself.

Firstly the graphics are intense and crisp. Every character and piece of scenery is beautifully designed, and the game-play is incredible. Definitely the best Splinter Cell installment so far! Very tense moments in seemingly impossible to succeed conditions makes this game really challenging (yet not too challenging to the point of frustration!). Stealth techniques are very realistic and the enemy A.I. is very accurate to what you'd expect in real scenarios.

The only thing is that some people might not enjoy the strictly stealth aspect of the game. This isn't about running in and killing everyone in an orgy of destruction, it's all about patience. Timing and strategy are the keys to success in this game, so I think it's understandable that some less enthusiastic players will get possibly bored eventually.

That said I would recommend this game to everyone who is a fan of warfare and/or shooter games, because this one is definitely not a game you'd want to just ignore without at least playing it!

            Overall: Visuals - 10/10; stunning!
            Game-play - 10/10; personally I love it!

            At least rent it!!

Top 100  Reviewer Top 10 Gadgets Reviewer

This game is one of the best games ever designed for the playstation 3 console - especially when it's from the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series. The graphics and gameplay are great as well as the online game play. It's hours of exciting gameplay which is extremely fun, enjoyable and addictive. Exquisite would be a word to describe the game. The game's so good that I can't justify it good enough. Highly recommended game, with many good features.I've also played Rainbow Six vegas and GRAW 2 from the Tom Clancy's series and can't wait for the next one...They're just too good...

best thing on the game is the gadgets but even that gets boring after awhile online isnt the best iv seen neither compared to Rainbow Six and Call Of Duty 4. might be worth renting though if you like games like metal gear solid.

way 2 easy to complete the game and once completed the single player is pointless and there's no point in playing it, the online multiplayer is good and that is what the 3 stars are for the single player lets it down, this game only really works with multiplayer
