I was one of the customers who pre-ordered the game and long awaited it. However once recieving the game, to say the least was a disappointment, voiceovers been the biggest disapointment. However been a lost fan enjoyed playing some of the missions and enjoyed unraviling the storyline of the new character.
What I think NOW about Lost : The Video Game

I was one of those that waited a long time for the release of this game and I bought it as it was available on play.com .. I played it and finished the game in 2 days and I was very amazed with its graphics and details althought I was dissapointed with the voice overs and dissapointed also as this isn't really LOST as we know it. I rated it 5 stars on play.com when I played it .. but now I changed my story.. WHY? I had Call of Duty 4, before Lost and I was like an addict to it.. After LOST I went back again to COD .. Listen carefully to this .... AFTER YOU FINISH LOST THE GAME .. BELIEVE ME THERE IS NO FURTHER USE OF IT ... NO ONLINE !! ... MISSIONS ARE VERY SHORT that you won't have the feeling to play them again !! Go Buy Metal Gear Solid 4 and Call of Duty 4 and you will see that you made a good decision not buying this game !!! Just rent the game if you are a BIG Fan of LOST THE SERIES for the fun that won't last very long.. You will be wasting your money buying this !! One final thing .. I am not one of those that like comparing games. LOST can't b compared to MGS and neither with COD but this game is simply below what we expected from it !!
Great if your a fan of the show.

I got this game because i am a die hard fan of the show, i thought the game would have average graphics but they are suprisingly good. This game is pretty much playing the episodes instead of watching them which i think is a unique and fun experience, but like the title says its great if your a fan of the show, if you arent i think you should rent this first, overall ill give this 4 out of 5, the lack of online is most probably why i didnt consider the 5th star.
Usual TV / Film game rubbish

The characters don't look or sound like the TV series.
The levels are laughingly stupid with lots of aimlessly running around.
In the jungle and cave navigation levels it is so easy to get lost and then you die! Which is so frustrating that after the 30th failed attempts.
Each time you have to re-talk to the people and re-watch the same videos again and again with no skip option!
The current cheap price is very good for a PS3 game but even this is too much for this rubbish.
Completed the day i received it!

If your a die hard LOST fan (like myself) then at this price it is probably worth it.
The graphics, story and music are great.
The voice overs, controls and gameplay are naff, not new, not very next gen.
This game is also very short unfortunately and any half decent gamer will finish in around 4 hours. The game raises more questions than it answers, so it definitely sticks close to the show.
Its nice to walk around the camp, but could have been so much better. For the price its worth a punt if you enjoy LOST the TV series.
Just the right price...

The main reason for this 4 star rating is because of the 14.99 price.
I for one like the game but am still dissapointed because i expected a lot more from an amazing show like lost!
Graphics are good! but completed quickly.
im lost on how to do this maths puzzle

lost is ace my favorot tv show but this really isnt tht good
the characters are all there but u can tell its not the voice of the actors :( and there are sum difficult maths puzzles that i didnt have the time for. games are fun but not when theres maths involved.
1 thing could of made this better and that is it should of been a free roam game.
Can you loose yourself in LOST?

Top 10 Games Reviewer
In lost you play as a brand new character, a reporter that was on flight 815 but you've lost your memory and it's you job to go out there and recover it.
Now me personally I like how the levels are set up, true to the series. You see each level/ stages is played as though you were watching a episode at the beginning of a stage you get a small clip then the lost title comes up, after you've completed the first stage at the beginning of every stage after this your treat to a "previously on LOST" clip which shows all the important bits from the previous stage. During each stage you also experience a flash back to help you regain your memory. I don't know what other people thought of this but I personally thought this was a good idea it's as if you really are playing through an episode.
The game play is split into two parts really, on the island, and in the flash backs. On the island you go round talking to the other characters in the game (the main characters from the series) who can help point you in the right direction to help you recover your memory. Now you will notice on the island that only the main and biggest characters on the show make an appearance so instead of having a beach full of survivors you will only have 2 or 3 people around at a time. It would have been nice to see more saviours around even if you couldn't talk to them or if they threw out a couple of one liners or pointed out where you can find the main characters. I don't know maybe I'm asking too much but as you are at the moment in the game you just feel alone as there isn't many people you can interact with.
While on the subject of the characters you are not treat with voice over's from the original cast instead your left with some really bad voice acting that in places is just laughable so don't expect any Oscar winning performances here.
Out in the Jungle when travelling from area to area you get to dodge the dreaded smoke monster or people shooting at you can hide in trees but they are easy enough to dodge and run past, there are also caves you can explore which can be dangerous, if your left in the dark to long the darkness will get you, or you could fall down a hole and die. You have stay in the light at all times when in a cave, putting your torch out when pass under water or when bats attack so save its lifespan. Don't be cheap like me and only use you lighter that you get for free ... It doesn't work that well.
Also on the Island you can go round looking for items such as empty bottles/ fruit to collect, these act as your currency on the island and can be later traded for more useful items such as torches, flash lights etc.
The flash back parts of the game require you to take a photo of a moment in your past the only clue you have to this is 2 or 3 pieces of a torn up photo, once the correct photo is taken you'll get a small clip revealing some more of your past and why you where on the flight. There are then a couple of other clues you can find in whatever environment you're in such as newspapers, recordings etc that may help as well. Taking a Picture sounds easy but finding the right angle/ position and focus level can be annoying.
To wrap up this game certainly isn't for everyone its way to short can be frustrating at times, the acting is laughable, and there is little action in the game not that this game is about that. However the game can be interesting in places, the graphics are actually really good and if you're a fan of lost then there are parts of the game that you will enjoy and find familiar that will keep you playing to the end and solve the mystery behind this survivor. Not worth the full retail price, rent or look for it really cheap as I did.
Swell! Guess we can all sue Oceanic together...

As many of you are, i am a MASSIVE lost fan, but to say this game fell short of my expectations is an understatement. Looks aside, it's annoying (yeah Locke i know where you are, shut up already!), void of any kind of excitment (I bought a gun! Awesome. I'll look forward to pulling the trigger twice...) and isn't even canon to the show. If you really have to play it, rent it. You'll finish it in a few hours.
WORST GAME EVER

i'm a HUGE lost fan.
i read all these bad reviews but thought id buy it anyway cause it only cost £30.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
the characters voices are annoying. the story is stupid as it doesnt tie in with the show at all. u crash, then all of a sudden the hatch is open and it moves so fast. then theres the monster and the others shooting at u in the jungle. and then theres the ending. it was so short and im glad it was cause it was so painfull playing it
it is quite possibly the worse game i have ever played. wish id kept my money and spent it on the next series when it comes out on dvd
