I have been waiting for this game for months now and here it is! I wont spoil the story for you, but if you like GOW and metal gear its got a few mixes of it. The battles you have with the monsters from the whole Castlevania series are very much about technique.

Still, you will enjoy the sunny hills of long quests to the deep darkest places where no one goes. Level design is excellent- just makes you want to look at the detail than fight the monster coming at you!
Each boss battle you start to learn from - but hey ! Mr kojima (metal gear maker) helped here so its going to be a real boss battle. Did i mention you could also ride a spider.....O_o

Replay value is great: A nice game to play over Xmas with my turkey and wine ^^

Castlevania is a must for gaming fans. It is a mixed blend of UNCHARTED 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4. The story, graphics, soundtrack, atmosphere and voice acting is all top class. Go out and get this NOW.

I was lucky enough to be able to experience the demo to this game thanks to PlayStation Plus.
The game instantly grips from the outset. If you like fantasy, and the action genre this is one for you. At best I could say it is similar to God of War, but Hideo Kojima's expertise makes it feel more epic, an impressive feat if you have played GoW.
I also felt more at ease with the controls, and the camera than that of GoW.
The voice acting involves some big guns, Sir Patrick Stuart and Robert Carlyle to name the most famous, so you know there will be no cheesey moments and a beautifully narrated game.
The visuals and the music are both breathtaking.

With vampires and werewolves very popular at the moment, this game is sure to be a huge success. Buy it, but it now! =D
