Played demo Wow....what a game, graphics to movement in this is just amazing. Played ninja gaiden 2 on xbox but man team ninja really held off for the ps3 version. It shows the power of the ps3.
Now just one thing there's no gore but who cares ninja gaiden will have you pulling your hair out it's that hard. And mission mode that's co-op class. 10/10

Better than Devil May Cry 4 by a country mile!

Having never played the original Ninja Gaiden Black on XBox, or even the first Sigma game on PS3, I took the plunge and bought this revamped and pumped up version of Ninja Gaiden 2 on PS3 after playing the addictive demo on PSN.
This version is considered the best version of Ninja Gaiden in the series, despite the omission of the blood and gore that was present on the 360 version.
And I can honestly say the game makes you feel like a Ninja God most of the time, utilising your speed, skill, precise timing and chaining combos of moves to create this orgy of violence and destruction. Once you master the art of killing 10 or more enemies at the same time without getting hit, and getting 50-100 hit combos, the game feels like ninja nirvana.
But some minor annoyances remain from the gameplay. This includes a particular tricky bit of wall running to progress further which can test your patience, and a couple of glitches when the loading screen wouldn't er, load, causing me to start a whole battle again. The graphics and sound are uniformly excellent, and the simple but deep fighting system of block, jump, counter and slash have never been better. With 18 Chapters to complete and some spectacular boss battles, and the addition of online and one player offline team missions mode, it's definately worth buying at £29.99. Although if you want a real challenge, complete it on Master Ninja level!

               Just amazing

Graphics, gameplay and soundtrack are all amazing! I was quite reluctant to purchase this on release day due to replayability doubts. However, I took the plunge to order it and I'm glad I did! It's a tremendous improvement from the first sigma and they fixed some frustrating issues from the first one. It seems not as difficult as before (still challenging) but it's more enjoyable. Well, that's what games are for right? You'll be spending hours and hours hitting and smashing ninjas/fiends and you'll never get bored of it. Stunning graphics, great gameplay, brilliant soundtrack and lots of replayability value. Get it!

This is a DEFINITE MUST HAVE PS3 GAME !

Ive played every single Ninja gaiden, including Sigma 1 and Ninja gaiden 2 on xbox 360

Let me just say, This game is Awesome. There is only 1 minor downside.

              The graphics are a beauty
The gameplay is Nice and fluent
Slashing up the enemys with a range of powers / combos and weapons you gain as you progress is just epic
It has an online co op feature which rocks! played it with a couple of mates

I havent put this game down, still playing as i am writing. The best ninja gaiden game to date! Ninja gaiden 2 on xbox 360 was way to hard but this game still requires some skill its not just run in kill and then go , you could get easily killed by the 5 or more enemies that attack you.

I love this game to bits, better than the first sigma.

and another note , MORE LADY NINJAS = AWESOME

If you buy it, let me know il add you on ps3 and play with you online.

              and the ONLY downside is
The Monstrous Goryyness has been left out of this game,

There is just little blood on your sword and on the bodies. but that doesnt affect the gameplay in anyway as you are gobsmacked by the way Ryu Hayabusa finishes em off.

id just like to had, the bosses are quite huge some are normal, but they are good boss fights!

              BUY . THIS . GAME . NOW

Ryu is back, bigger and badder than ever!

              Top 10 Tickets Reviewer

If you enjoyed the first ninja gaiden sigma on PS3 then you're going to love this. The graphics and gameplay are extremely smooth and fluid, slightly better than sigma 1, and the enemies come flooding in like rats escaping water!

You play as Ryu for the most part with plenty of cool weapons to keep things interesting, and plenty of boss battles to master your techniques. Then there are chapters you play as other character, 3 actually, 3 busty female characters, no suprises there... Tecmo really like their top heavy characters if you know what I mean!

If you are new to the ninja gaiden series then be warned that these games are not the easiest out there (which isn't a bad thing because a challenge is always good). It's definitely a wise move to play the game through on the easier setting first time through, i started on normal mode (bad mistake) and if you're inexperienced or haven't played any ninja gaiden for a few years then DON'T pick this mode! It get's quite frustrating and throws you right in at the deep end with no arm bands or lifeguards! I don't think there are any trophies awarded for completing it on higher difficulties either (because they would be incredibly difficult and time consuming to achieve)

Overall an excellent gaming experience, with great controls and graphics. Definitely worth the purchase because it has a lot of replayability. My only slight criticism would be the camera angle, (only here and there, nothing too drastic) sometimes i want to raise it slightly but when i let go of the right stick it drops back down parallel with Ryu and can occasionally cause your view to be obstructed by the surroundings, but other than that the game is amazing.
