Lots of Features but Still Stupidly Hard

I played the original on xbox couldnt get very far but I liked what I played
so when I heard the Sigma edition was easier I grabbed it and was really enjoying it until the statue of liberty bit. I don't consider myself to be amateur games player. but this really had me beat
How about for Ninja Gaiden 3 they make a game most people can complete

Hi all, After playing Heavenly Sword. I didnt think id find a game which would have me hooked again. I was wrong, this is pure entertainment at its best. It is pure platform However good points about the game is the life power ups you can earn along the way. Also the different weapons. Unlocking special moves as you progress through. The challenging point of the game is that each level becomes more intense. I love heavenly sword so personally i enjoyed this. Thumbs up.

i think this game matches the god of war games almost as the action, controls, speed of the game, variety and great soundtrack are excellent.
plus online co op missions which is my sole reason for purchasing it make it an absolute essential action game for ps3 and im glad to say i like it as much as god of war series.
having said that,it dosent look anywhere near as good as god of war 3 but with the excpetion of killzone 2..what does? lol
special mention again for the soundtrack which i love.

  Bone crunchingly good sequel!

If you like your fighting games brutal, over-the-top and loud then NGS2 is just your cup of tea. 17 campaign missions. team play. 4 playable characters and tons of moves and weapons make this a lengthy game with lots of replayablility.

Graphics have marginally improved over the first game and range from ok to good to very good with the animation still retaining top notch fluidity. Some of the environments are still a bit bland and sterile although the setting for the many boss encounters are a joy to behold. Unlike NGS1 there's very little in the way of exploration your aim really being to go from point A to B killing all foes in between. It might sound linear but the action is so relentless, varied and loud that you'd easily pass this by.

Overall a great game and a must buy for martial arts enthusiasts.

  The Dragon Ninja is back!

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is the second game from Tecmo to be released in PS3. You play as Ryu Hayabusa, the Dragon Ninja, as a protector of light and justice. Your mission is to defeat the hordes of fiends that are trying to resurrect the Archfiend.

If you are looking for a challenge this game is for you, just like the old days.
Many unlockables, trophies, mission mode online mode and mission challenge will keep you busy for months.
The pricing is not bad at all for what this game offers.

What if you have a PS3 and a Xbox? Well, buy both games of course! Both have unique stuff to offer.

Will you save the world or will you surrender to the Fiends?

Better than Devil May Cry 4 by a country mile!

Having never played the original Ninja Gaiden Black on XBox, or even the first Sigma game on PS3, I took the plunge and bought this revamped and pumped up version of Ninja Gaiden 2 on PS3 after playing the addictive demo on PSN.
This version is considered the best version of Ninja Gaiden in the series, despite the omission of the blood and gore that was present on the 360 version.
And I can honestly say the game makes you feel like a Ninja God most of the time, utilising your speed, skill, precise timing and chaining combos of moves to create this orgy of violence and destruction. Once you master the art of killing 10 or more enemies at the same time without getting hit, and getting 50-100 hit combos, the game feels like ninja nirvana.
But some minor annoyances remain from the gameplay. This includes a particular tricky bit of wall running to progress further which can test your patience, and a couple of glitches when the loading screen wouldn't er, load, causing me to start a whole battle again. The graphics and sound are uniformly excellent, and the simple but deep fighting system of block, jump, counter and slash have never been better. With 18 Chapters to complete and some spectacular boss battles, and the addition of online and one player offline team missions mode, it's definately worth buying at £29.99. Although if you want a real challenge, complete it on Master Ninja level!

i played the original ninja gaiden on the original xbox and loved it. it took me 35 hours and was the hardest game i had ever played and by far the most addictive. this ninja gaiden is no challenge at all. the graphics are good and the game play is good its just way too easy compared with the earlier versions. i finshed the end baddy without getting killed once. in short its fun to play, very stylish, looks great but is just way too easy

Ninja gaiden sigma was one of the first games i got on ps3 besides RFOM. I must say this sequel is definately more impressive visually but maybe not as difficult. One thing that did disappoint and that was lack of blood when slicing up the bad guys but even the first sigma was missing it too. It is great to see that they have included a lot more online options this time round too. Overall a great little platformer roll on sigma 3.
