         BEST HEADSET FOR PS3...

        | | See all godofwarfare's reviews (19)

...and so it should be! for the price, but dont let this put you off!!
why pay 25pounds for a headset that probably wont get used and then go out and buy a different headset for another 25pounds to see if the quality is improved when you can just take a gamble with this set, all the reviews are positive!! I received these as an xmas present and absolutely love them. They are one of my favourite presents I have ever received, my little brother received an Ipod touch and a PSP go on Xmas and had a go of my headset and said straight away he would have prefered this set.
Everything is Crystal Clear from the chat to the in game effects, there are 3 volume and bass controls, the chat volume can be muted to zero and yet the in game effects are not impacted. The base boost is incredible I always have mine to full level and when people call in harriers or an AC130 on modern warfare 2 it sounds brilliant, even when people are reloading or stand on a twig you can pinpoint their whereabouts.
I never thought to try the headset with other games and plugged them in with FIFA and could literally feel every kick of the ball, also the communication online between yourself and friends is so clear, it was like having a face to face conversation.
Overall the price will definately put people off but if you have achieved bonus this year or have a little extra to spend, I thoroughly recommend this set!!!

5* But for the hardcore gamers only!!

this headset is amazing, it really is not only the best headset available right now for PS3 but the best iv ever used as i also play PC gaming. I luckily ordered my p21 when the price was 65pnd, then the next day it rose to 75pnd but either way they are worth it.

However i think unless you really rack up the hours on your ps3 on games like MW2 and BF:BC2 then these may not be for you, they are steeply priced for someone who only plays casually. The one fault i have also found with the HS is a kind of buzzing noise that is only noticeable when there is no sound being played, you will quickly forget about this buzz but at first it is noticeable.

Overall a great headset for any enthusiastic gamer who wants to hear those miniscule sounds in game.

         About time these came out

Just like everyone else, I've been bemused at Sony's total lack of judgement when it comes to late night online gaming! Who plays online at night in mono when there are kids asleep?? Finally I can dicard my headphone / mic combo for a proper fully functional headet!
I used them for the fist time last night and they certainly do what they're supposed to.
Ok, the cabling is long, but can be tied up and there is a slight noise generated, but it's certainly not affecting the gameplay whatsoever.
If you, like me, play into the night and have the wife / kids about, get these.

        Game on :)

         Amazing Headset!

After recieving my turtle beach p21 i was very happy with my purchase. Late night gaming has never ben so good and the sound system that this thing has is so amazing i can't even tell you.
If you want an unfair advantage in games such as call of duty and killzone then this is the headset for you. You can hear exactly where the enemy is whether that is left or right. In my opinion best headset on the ps3. Good job turtle beach and play!!

Great headset for the PS3, but isit worth it?

After testing out this headset with various games such as MW2 and Assassins Creed 2, I can say it does what it says on the box. A casual gamer who wants to either hear the slightest of movements or just wants to keep the noise down in the house will benefit from this. Their are however 2 negative things about this headset. The 1st is the static noise when your not playing anything through the headset and 2nd is the absence of Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Price is a bit steep but it's worth it if you care about gaming. (Also these headsets are great for listening to music and watching movies - Bass is nice)
