Sony PlayStation 3 PS3 Slim Console with 120GB HDD

Just got mine today! It looks awesome. And is quiet still like the previous ps3. The fan is no were near as noisy and off putting as the 360. It was a choice between changing my fat ps3 to a slim one or get an elite and I feel i chose correctly.

You can guarantee the build quality of all sony products. This will never break down on you unlike the Xbox.

Theres loads of decent games coming soon and out now. Like for example Uncharted 2. That game blows any other game out of the water in terms of graphics and gameplay. In a recent interview the developer said it would be impossible on the 360.

What you waiting for buy it! Dont waste £200 on elite then a furthur £40 live membership (which is free on PS3), a furthur £40 for wireless adapter (again FREE and inbuilt on PS3).

And I can pretty much guarantee this won't break down on you.

I also recommend getting PlayTV its well worth it. You can fill those 120GB with TV shows and Films!

It's just incredible. You get loads of things combined into one. The games are of a top quality especially the exclusive games such as Killzone 2 and Uncharted. It's also got an incredible line up of games this year and next year, but it just doesn't stop there.

The Blu-Ray player that comes standard provides great entertainment. I can no longer touch a DVD when Blu-Ray offers so much more.

Best of all, online is free. Really, what more could you ask for? Aside from that, VidZone is also available for the PlayStation 3 which is a free application that allows you to stream loads upon loads of artists, new and old, in top quality.

The BBC iPlayer is an exceptional feature to have and very handy. I tend to use it to listen to Radio 1.

The console also comes complete with a browser which has had some improvements through many firmware updates. It may not top your browser on your computer, but it is fast and it can stream videos. I sometimes sit down on a night and watch some family guy.

The music quality is fantastic. I love putting my music on there and listening to it. The console provides a high quality music playback.

The Wi-Fi is unbelievably handy. I would not be able to get online if it wasn't for the built in Wi-Fi. It's completely worth it.

I'd recommend this console to anyone as there is a whole world of other things to discover on the PlayStation. The PlayStation slim just has a very sleek look to it and looks just perfect in my set up.

It's practically a steal at this price.

Smaller, sleeker, quieter, cheaper, cooler and less power hungry.

What is there for me to say? Other than, this is the best deal you can get on a current-gen console. Blu-Ray, Wifi, Free Online Gaming, Bult-in Web Browser and more importantly, a superb gaming device.

I have owned a Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 this generation and none of the others come close to the quality of Sony's product. I even went through 3 faulty Xboxes!

God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and many more, you will only find on this console.

I got a 60GB PS3 at launch, and my brother's new slim is just not as well equipped. I've got card readers, four usb slots and a much shinier design. The slim is fantastic if you don't already have a PS3, or even if you have a later 80GB model (they don't have card readers either), but if you have the original, full fat version with all the bells and whistles, there's little to be gained by buying this.

Already owning a Xbox 360 and a Wii before buying my PS3, i was pretty skeptical wether to not i should actually buy it, and after the month ive had it now, i can gladly say im glad i did buy it. Its a good addition to any avid Gamer, and also a good edition to the Casual gamer. The Blu ray player built in is a great feature of it.

The first thing i want to touch upon is the online. Sure, its wonderful not having to pay for it like Xbox Live, but im afraid to say, i think the Xbox live service is better than PSN. Xbox live has things like Inside Xbox, Ign Strategise, and the likes. While PSN has...nothing.
Also, the PSN's connection compared to xbox live is worse. I find myself not being able to join a friends game VERY often. and in fact, On Call of dutys Nazi Zombie mode, ive found 3 games in a month. I also find my connection being Laggy as all hell, while if i go play a game online on my Xbox, the connection is perfect.

A main reason i was skeptical about not buying a Ps3 was due to the amount of exclusives games that actually appealed to me. It was pretty much, next to none. And also, what games are on here that i could just get on my Xbox any way? Now dont get me wrong, Ps3's got some great exclusives coming to it in the near future, but now all these big brand games seems to be crossing over to xbox aswell. Cmon Guys. Wheres all the exclusives?

over all, i think the Ps3 slim is a good buy. I would recomend buying one if you dont have any previous Games consoles, or maybe if you have a wii. But if your more of a hardcore gamer, Then my Suggestion is: Xbox all the way
