got this controller, really excited about it! Just another MadCatz fail! the R1 and L1 buttons, you have to press so hard and in the right place for them to actually work! the combat buttons are in a place which makes holding the controller very awkward and aches after a while! the analogue sticks are just awful compared to official PS3 ones! which makes aiming very difficult with the addition of the L1 (aim) button
Just a complete no go with this! Yes the lights are cool and the camo and grips on the side give it something new and again..cool! but for actual gameplay, no!
Waste of money! stick with the official controllers!
This product should be recalled...seriously. Look at all the reviews. Its a so called "controller" but the R1 and L1 buttons dont work. You practically have to smash your fist into them to get them to work!! Just dont get this. The official PS3 controller however is amazing cant flaw it at all.
I was so excited when i ordered this amazing looking controller, the grips, design and the LED lightings looked amazing and i thought it would be better than the standard PS3 controller. Once i started playing with is i noticed alot of problems. It dosent feel comfortable in your hands, the controller's obviously designed for children under 6 because where the combat buttons are set, all of the buttons stick. A terrible controller AVOID!!!
Poor quality through and through , under developed and over priced, laggy analogue sticks, no feel, poor switches for the buttons with undefined contact point, just ruins game play allround and not worthy of being licensed for cod
So infinity ward and mad catz teamed up to create a controller, how could this go wrong!?
Well... Combat buttons could be a liiitle bit bigger, & in a slightly different place, L1 & R1 buttons are too stiff, no way responsive enough, just like the analogue sticks, they're also not as sensitive as the PS3 model. Ok so on the plus side the Mad Catz version has a nice green light glowing from it!
Sorry but it just doesnt cut it, when playing COD everything needs to be perfect, & this controller is far from it!
