BioShock 2: Special Collector's Edition

24.99 for the collectors edition of bioshock 2 was such a bargain!! Everything about it is just great, its probably the best collectors edition set ive ever bought, the box it comes in is very detailed with the hand-print butterfly, then you have the LP record, CD, posters, art book and a copy of the game. Its worth every penny!! Highly Recommend.

i got this as a birthday present and the first thing i notised was wow this is heavy and could not wait to see what was inside. the slip cover it comes in looks great and you could even display that on a wall or desk. after taking off the slip cover there is a canvas type black box with white hand prints in the shape of a butterfly which again look fantastic and could be displayed on a wall. the things that are included is an art book which is incredily detailed with a huge 169 pages showing enermys, weapons, scenary. there is also 3 posters which look great that look all stained and dirty to make it look like its come straight from rapture. there is a vinyl with bioshock score on which i am going to frame as i dont have an LP player and the case it comes in look great again all stained and dirty. there is also a cd that looks like a small LP with the bioshock 2 score on and after all that the game.

This game is great just as good as bioshock 1 with a whole new story, new characters, new weapons and a whole bunch of enermys. the graphics are great and this time you can even walk around in the sea just out side rapture. this game is intence and will leave you wanting more and of course there is in the form of online and downloadable content. for any bioshock fan who want a part of rapture it is a must buy. One of the best collectors editions i have.

I got this box recently and was extremely impressed with its contents and couldn't be happier to be a owner of one of these stunning collectors items. It really is worth every penny you spend on it, just because the game alone is worth about 40 pounds, and could you imagine what the rest of the contents inside would cost individually especially the Deco book and vinyl. If you are an avid fan of bioshock like I am, then just spend that extra 20 pounds because you won't be disappointed.

It really does feel like a crime to open and disturb the various items in this set, they are so well presented and for 24 pound well worth the money. It just screams quality from the vinyl to the posters. The art book is of particular interest and again is a very well made item.
The game its self is absolutely top notch, atmospheric would be an understatement. Beautiful graphics are only the start, rapture again has been created in such a detailed manner that it is so fun to explore every nook and cranny. For people that never played the first this is how the game basically plays, you are in a under water city called rapture that has fallen apart and everybody has lost there mind due to a certain drug called adam, you the protaganist called alpha must explore the city while fighting off the crazed inhabitants first person style, you have a range of weaponry at your disposal like a machine gun and rivet gun ( and a massive drill) which are useful at getting the job done but the fun really starts when you start taking the drug adam and new powers (called plasmids) become available, with the different plasmids you can freeze enemys, set them on fire, hypnotize... the list is endless. The combat is alot of fun, and the combination of plasmids and upgrades mean that you could have two very different playthroughs depending on which plasmids you choose. The sounds in game is fantastic and the audio logs you find just help at making it a believable city. The music is one of the best collections ive ever heard in a game and you actually get it as a cd with this set. I could say alot more about this game but ive whittled on enough, this or the first game both are brilliant and are worth the 40 pound price tag they origanally sell with (very few games are nowadays) let alone just 24 pound for this incredible set, youd be crazy not to buy it.

Bought the first game as normal edition, loved it, saw this edition for this price, couldn't resist, and absolutely love it, altogether, BUY THIS COLLECTORS EDITION
