  The Best Yet...

I have probably played this game for longer than any other, graphics are top notch, the city's and landscapes are beautifully realised and are a beauty to behold, it is quite possible to get competely lost in the world doing sub quests and collecting feathers/boxes of loot. The story is as complicated (and as good) as ever with a decent variety of mission methods and weapons, upgrading is straightforward as is sending your assassins on their quests, a pasttime that becomes quite addictive. A mention should also go to the soundtrack/incidental music which is superb and fits the game perfectly. If you have even a passing interest in this genre you really should get this game and play it through to the end... you'l probably be playing a lot more after the end credits have rolled as well...

  Good as usual

If you loved ac1 and 2 then you will love this. Its story is just as long as ac2 maybe longer. The overall fighting mechanics have been improved to allow more actions and the fighting seems a lot faster. I thought the online was just a tacked on feature but as i found out, its really good. I did get bored of it pretty quick though as you dont seem to have much incentive to keep playing. Its a steep learning curve which some will love and some wont. Overall its a step up from ac2 just like ac2 was over ac1

Definately worth it at this price

  Near perfection

Assassin's Creed is one of the few game titles that I have really bought into. In Brotherhood, the graphics are superb, the engine is near flawless - the combat is ever-improving.

The only problem that I have with Brotherhood, if you had played AC2, this would've felt like an expansion pack rather than a whole new game. Yes we've gained new weapons, new location and new quests to complete. But the game was generally a refined AC2 version which was superb already.

The story-line whilst would've been excellent for any other game, did not quite live up to AC2's story line in my opinion.

It's well worth buying, but if you played AC2, you might be left a little bit disappointed.

+ Guilds
+ New Weapons & Shop Quests
+ A lot of side-quests that don't affect the storyline
+ Easier travel between locations
+ Improved multiplayer

- Side quests mention Borgias, after they are long gone
- The storyline shorter and less engaging than AC2

  Really Good

I was quite surprised as to how much content (missions, side missions, achievements, multiplayer, extras etc) is included in this game with a great storyline too! I know it's a good game when I get completely obsessed with it. Definitely worth buying!

  Good, but...

...it's basically the rest of AC II. It feels very much like an expansion to that game, with only a few minor tweaks here and there. Saying that, it's still fantastic fun to play and Rome looks very nice indeed. Just couldn't help but feel a little cheated by the developers; a very lazy product.

  Still fun

The first AC was a very flawed game with a very interesting premise. AC2 tapped more into the potential and delivered a really solid game. AC: Brotherhood delivers an absolutely massive adventure with hours upon hours of engaging gameplay, but it feels a bit more than an addon pack rather than a fully fledged sequel. All the UI stuff is identical and graphics seem untouched (apart from maybe a few minor tweaks) so I guess that's why they went with a subtitle and not a numbered sequel for this game. Anyway, if you like AC games, you really can't go wrong with this one.

its a quality game, just like the first two. the graphics are second to none, and they definately lead the way alongside the uncharted series. also it's a lot less repetitive than the first two games, which keeps you interested right til the end.
