Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy's greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.

Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other players from around the world.

It's time to join the Brotherhood

  • Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on PS3 features exclusive free additional downloadable content called the Copernicus Conspiracy which will be accessible for download on PSN on November 19th 2010. Players will have access to several new missions through the famous Renaissance astronomer Copernicus. Extra content for players includes courier, assassination and protection missions - Ezio will be tasked with foiling the conspiracy against Copernicus and defending his philosophy.
  • Master the possibilities: As Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, experience over 15 hours of single-player gameplay set in the living, breathing, unpredictable city of Rome
  • Lead a legendary brotherhood: Recruit and train promising young Assassins. Deploy them across the city as you see fit, or call upon them to aid you in your quests.
  • Experience a rich historical tapestry: Collaborate with real historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza
  • Win the heart of a city: Use your hard-won currency to revitalize the crumbling capital city. Rally the citizens to your cause and unlock extra factions and missions.
  • Deploy secret weapons: Swiftly eliminate your enemies using tools such as poison darts, parachutes, double hidden blades, hidden guns, and an advanced flying machine at your disposal
  • Memorable multiplayer: Choose from multiple authentic character classes, each with their own signature weapons and killing moves. With richly-detailed maps and a wide variety of unique multiplayer modes, you'll never fight the same way twice.

 Beta review

judging by the beta this game is very good (like ac 1 and ac2)
of course it has many glitches but the reason for that is that it is a beta and every time I go online i see 1 or 2 of them fixed.
if you have played the assassins creed series it runs just like the second apart from that the graphics have been upgraded a little bit and also it has new weapons and of course the multiplayer which is an interesting concept
But in all i recommend you buy this game

Its good but whats so great about it?

Ok, so I am a harsh critic and I admit it. But what does this game do that the predecessors don't? Not much. Ok, there is the training of the brotherhood and the online side but that is not exactly ground breaking stuff is it! The training doesn't even require any great skill on the gamers behalf.

Personally I found that there was too much going on with far too much asked of each button, I would sometimes end up grabbing a horse when I was attempting to interact with an object, thus attracting attention and so on. Then there were the Leonardo's machines missions, these were ok, but again VERY repetitive and the flying machine has almost no control - guys this never worked in part 2 so why persist? And then there are the guild challenges, some of these were just lazy time related chasing about which is boring and lazy on the developers part! (Not to mention, again, repetitive!)

As already stated here the story mode was far too short and the fact you can complete it way before the side missions is terrible game development! Cesare and his Borgia influence were being talked of long after I had killed him!

It's a good game, don't get me wrong, but I found that I lost interest in this pretty quick and I hadn't done that with either of the two games before it. I think the high reviews this game has received can only be down to the age old *pay per review* as opposed to this actually being a real contender for a game of the year. Its worth a purchase but go and get a cheap pre-owned copy and don't bother with paying full price as if you have played the first two there is little new here.

 Brilliant

Had the beta and loved the epic gameplay moments and the tense battle scoring point. Played 2 missions of the singleplayer (do not ask how) but very flawless gameplay mechanisms and over all i would give it 9.8/10
