i enjoy the killzone series, ive played 2 and 3, and found them a nice FPS and i love the duck and cover aspect. The graphics are top draw and the stories arent too bad if not just a little too american!
The game in 3D is awesome and takes it to an all new level.
Plus the game isnt too easy and a challenge even on a low level.
I just cant give this game 5 stars due to the multiplayer not gripping me and the campaign although good, not one i want to put on over and over again.

  OUTSTANDING

Brilliant game, campaign and multiplayer is fantastic! Just takes too long to join in an online game lol

Really enjoyed this game & thought it was an improvement on KZ2.
I'm quite picky about graphics & found this game to be top quality in this area, some stunning scenes & fantastic art work & designs.
Story line was good and game play was smooth.
Weapons & cover system both a big improvement.
Online took some getting used to as at first other players have upgraded & have so many more perks you just cannot move to begin with.
The infiltrator perk where opposing players adopt your teams ID is very annoying & a bit pointless.
After a few hours online & several upgrades things improved but it does get a little repetitive as there are not enough maps.
At the reduced price though well worth the purchase.

  good.

a very good game with some really nice graphics and sound. killzone 3 carries on literally straight after the second one ends and you take control of the same character in this installment. to cut a long story short its action packed throughout but i must be honest and say that i preferred the second one. this one has a big element of cheese about it with a quite corny storyline! also the ending to this game is a massive anti climax and was expecting better, but still gets 4 stars as overall and not comparing it to the second one this was a good game.

Visuals alone are worth 5 stars

Firstly, Killzone takes the ps3 to it's full potential with what i'd say is the best looking console game to date. At times on multiplayer i just stop to admire the background scenary only to be by one of the brutal melees.
The campaign seems a little short to others but after looking at how much they have packed this game with, it couldnt be possible to put alot (if any) more in. To me the campaign is a good length which kept me entertained throughout.
The mutiplayer is one of those that takes a while to get used to for those Call of Duty fans as your character moves like he's actually loaded up with the armour and weapons he's carrying. Once you get past the slightly sluggish feel to it, you'll learn to love it with the different classes all very unique and make you want to use them all throughout a match. Theres plenty of maps with some more available on DLC but most players tend to vote for the more popular ones inbetween matches, so it dosnt always seem like a great variety after a while. What it lacks in perks and weapon attachments it makes up for in general quality, giving it a well balanced and fun multiplayer to spend hours on end playing.
This is the best Killzone yet and something the ps3 should be proud of exceptional effort gone into the visuals with a very good multiplayer (if given the chance).

Very Good, looking and interactive game

It`s very nice game. The feel of every gin is different, unique and good. Unlike other reviews i think the campaign story is good.

The only think why i gave this game a four is because of Voice acting since it gets laggy every now and then.

Wow i think when most ps3 owners who bought this say it is stunning to look at they definately know what they are talking about. This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best looking games i have seen on ps3 so far. Every scene just seems epic in single player as is multiplayer too for that matter. My only gripe with the game so far has been that on my ps3 i have had a few issue's with the cut scene's and sound sometimes been out of sync. But everything else in the game is to perfection. Definately a worthy addition to the killzone saga.

Single player Good but Multiplayer Fantastic!!!!

I enjoyed the single player and took my time to go through it fully. Only over the last 1 month or so started now playing the multiplayer and must say it's the best FPS I've played. Really enjoyable and not as frustrating as some. Highly recommended!!

  Best FPS shooter on PS3

I can't believe that this game has no advertising whatsoever as its definetly one of the best PS3 games of 2011.

Graphics are awesome and they're full 720p, not upscaled.

3D is pretty good as well but it doesn't stand out as much as I'd hoped, I'd have hoped that bullets from enemies would look as though they're coming at you but no, you only get the 3D effect on large objects.

I also played it with Move and it is extremely difficult as you have to keep the Move controller super still and seeing as its soo sensitive, even a 1mm move of the Move controller will map the move in the game so crosshairs won't be on enemy anymore.

So I gave up with Move as it was too difficult and 3D was tiring my eyes and I went back to the pad and normal HD setting.

Storyline continues on KZ2 I presume and as I never got round to finishing KZ2 because of its dodgy controls, I didn't know where KZ3 was continuing from.
That leads me to another point, control mechanism has greatly improved, its somewhere in between KZ2 and COD so its perfect and realistic.

Storyline was pretty interesting to be honest but characters voice acting wasn't as good as I'd hoped, I've heard better.

Out of 10 ratings:-
Graphics - 8.5 (only full 1080p games will get 10)
Gameplay/Story- 9.5
Voice acting - 7.5
Multiplayer- 9.5

Another thing I noticed it that this game has no install onto the HDD apart from the 6MB for save data and it has NO LOADING times. Yes, no loading times, I not once so a loading icon in the game.

If KZ3 can achieve 720p graphics, 3D, no install to HDD and no loading times then there's no excuse for other games(I'm looking at you Uncharted) to have a loading time.

A must for a PS3 owner and FPS fans.
