Batman: Arkham Asylum exposes players to a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them to the depths of Arkham Asylum - Gotham's psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. Gamers will move in the shadows, instigate fear amongst their enemies and confront The Joker and Gotham City's most notorious villains who have taken over the asylum. Batman Arkham Asylum was my favourite game of all time and when I head it was out in 3D I had to get it - and I'm glad I did! Sure, the 3D isn't as perfect as it is at the cinema, but it's amazing in the game. It really does give the game the finishing touch. The 3D glasses are included (set of two), and are made out of cardboard. They're tough though, and after a short while you forget you're even wearing them. The special pink and green lenses prevent any colour loss in the game, meaning when playing you won't see pink and green in front of your eyes. The extra DLC is pretty good too. I really can't explain how amazing this game is in 3D - definitely hope this is a starting point for more games coming out in this form of 3D - cheaper than a 3D TV ! Batman Arkham Asylum = 10/10, Batman Arkham Asylum 3D = 100/10. :)
The worst game I've ever had the misfortune of owning. I've never been further than 15% through the game because it crashes and tells me the game data is corrupted, i must delete it and re-install it. Something I have now done for the 8th time and still I cannot get it to work. Seems to be a common occurence when you read on various internet forums.
This game has one of my favourate story mode because it is so varied with all the different tasks and enemys. The graphics are stunning and voice acting is great. it story line grabs you straight away and you wont want to put it down until you have finished. even after then you still have all the different challenges such as combat arena and stealth challenges and also the great play as joker ps3 exclusive. it is good that this edition comes with all the downloadable content pre installed but i didnt think much to the 3d effect as it dosent really work it just makes lights brighter and blurryer also the glasses are made of cheap card bord and they should have made proper one like at the movies instead. overall a great game but in my opinion i would by the cheaper normal edition.
The Greatest Game Of The Year !!! The 3-D Isn't The Best But Still Takes The Game To A Higher Level. All Dlc Packs Are Included But You Must Download The Play As Joker Pack, But Thats Free Anyway. The Story Is Not To Hard As I Compleated It In 1 Day But After The Story There Is Still Alot To Do While Roaming Arkham Island. Overall A Great Game 10/10
One of the best games ever is now in 3D!! It's absolutely brilliant. Plus you get all the downloadable maps. All in one box. Get it!! Roll on arkham asylum 2. Can't wait!!
