PS3 system software update version 3.00
The updated system software adds various user-friendly features such as the "What's New" screen, where users can quickly browse the new items available in PlayStation Store as well as their recently played games directly on the XMB (XrossMediaBar), with shortcuts to each piece of content. PS3 will evolve continuously with the system software updates, further improving the operability and enhancing the user experience available through the network. PS3 owners will be able to enjoy new features by simply updating the PS3 system software to version 3.00 via the "System Update" function on the XMB.
BRAVIA Sync feature
The PS3 Slim is also equipped with the BRAVIA Sync feature. By connecting the PS3 Slim and a BRAVIA TV with the HDMI cable, users are able to directly operate the XMB on PS3 using the TV remote control. Other functions include "System Standby" that will automatically turn off the PS3 when the BRAVIA TV is turned off.
Vertical Stand for PS3 Slim (CECH-2000 series)
By utilising the Vertical Stand (sold separately), users will be able to set the PS3 Slim in vertical position, making it easier to place the PS3 anywhere at home.

PS3 Slim Console with 250GB HDD
The internal design architecture of the PS3 Slim, from the main semiconductors and power supply unit to the cooling mechanism, has been completely redesigned, achieving a much slimmer and lighter body. Compared to the very first PS3 model with 60GB HDD, the internal volume as well as its thickness and weight are trimmed down to approximately two-thirds.

Furthermore, power consumption is also cut to two-thirds, helping to reduce fan noise. While inheriting the sleek curved body design of the original model, the form factor of the PS3 Slim features a new meticulous design with textured surface finish, giving an all-new impression and a casual look.

I can't understand how the previous reveiwer marks down the ITEM because of the DELIVERY! HDNL work the same as any other delivery company, if you're not in when they try to deliver, you get a card, which states on it you've got the choice to either arrange a re-delivery (Mon-Fri), or you go and collect it. If it was urgent, you go and collect it! So don't let one bad comment put you off from ordering.

Now that's out of my system, I can only say that the PS3 is an fantastic bit of kit: plenty of games, free online play, and bluray kicks the Xbox brigade where it hurts.

The delivery company received the package a week and a half before I gave up and retrieved it from their depot myself, completely missing the birthday I aimed for. I ordered 2 weeks before the birthday and I have to retrieve it my self from a "delivery" company the day after.

Other than that it's a brilliant deal and the PS3/GoW3 is great, just find a way to get it delivered by someone other than HDNL.

This is the best package deal you can buy for the ps3 no question. I was tempted to stick with my 360 but God of War 3 is without doubt one of the best titles ever created, and the graphics and sound without fault. Only problem is that took a few weeks to come because of supply so just be aware if you order this that if may take a few weeks to arrive. But if you have been holding out on a ps3 waiting for the right deal and game...then wait no more.
