Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3 but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel introduce divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier originally introduced in F.E.A.R., or they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave.

Storyline:
Nine months ago, Point Man and his F.E.A.R. squad were tapped to stop a telepathically gifted cannibal who had begun a murderous rampage. Point Man learned the target was his brother, Paxton Fettel, working alongside their tortured and psychically powerful mother, Alma Wade. Despite the revelation, Point Man followed orders to destroy them and subsequently ravaged the surrounding city and most of his F.E.A.R. team.

Now, it is clear that Alma's psychic influence survived - and worse, she is about to birth something that could destroy the world. Fettel has returned from death with an unclear agenda, refusing to leave Point Man's side and asking for help to reach Alma. The remaining F.E.A.R. squad is still trying to complete their mission. With his chain of command broken and Point Man calling his own shots, where will his allegiance lie?

Top 100 Games Reviewer

loved the first two games they had great story and gameplay but the graphics were shocking i can say they sorted that problem out fear 3 picks up story wise where the other two left off back on the hunt for alma as you travel around the differnt enviroments you come across wide range of enimes and you have a wide range of weapons to put them down really fun game with a good leveling up systerm fun game all the way and well worth doing again

Worthy but it ain't a keeper!

I'm about 4 hours into campaign. Graphics are reasonable but trailing behind KZ3. Sound design is excellent. Weapons & gameplay fairly solid. Havn't got on MP yet apart from a co-op Zombie game which was mediocre. I play KZ3, COD, BF2 which are all better but saying that i'm enjoying this more than the overhyped, dull, Crysis 2. Get it if you enjoyed Fear 1-2.

 good horror game

if your a fan of the previous F.E.A.R game or just like horror games or enjoy playing shooting games in general then this should be a worthy pick up.

Bought this simply for something to do over the weekend - I can't say I'm impressed with it. Seems (so far) like a very mediocre shooter. The game is average in every department - maybe it'll get better later on (I'm still in some prison atm) Enemies are pretty dumb, running into your sights,. and they look pretty rubbish too. I'll be flogging it as soon as it's finished. So far no pros but plenty of cons..

 Best Horror Game Ever !!
