Your first impression of the game is good. Nice graphics, reasonable music, great multi-player options. The storyline is basic and linear - but it is good enough for it not to detract from the overall game experience.
Once you play the game for any length of time you will find yourself put into one of three camps:
*those who can play error free
*those who can play but with some major errors
*those who cannot play at all due to the severity of the game breaking errors.
The people who can play error free appear to be few and far between - with the majority having problems so severe that they cannot finish the game. There are a few workarounds for some of the errors, involving joining online games, swapping characters, reloading multiple times, etc. But in this day and age who wants to have to do that? In the ultra competitive console game market a developer should get the game right first time.
The producers whilst initially open to players about there being a fix coming have gone silent for quite some time - leaving many people speculating that WB Games are not going to bother fixing it at all.
This looks like a clear case of rushing an unfinished product out in time for christmas.
My advice to you - do not buy this game yet. Wait 6 months first to see if a fix is released. If it is then you will have a great time. If not, then at least you haven't wasted a lot of money buying something that is broken.
