Again Konami have made a saw game that was pretty much the same as before. Not much has changed, although they have tried to change the combat system, making it better in my case as there are set moves not just X or SQUARE. A very good story again with audio tapes and case studies but not much more to do in the way of thinking. Another plus to these saw games is that its nice to see a game which you have to think about rather than just spray bullets everywhere and HEADSHOT appear on the screen, however there is a limit people like to how much you have to think as this is why people play games, to get away from the real world and gain quick success. Not much different to the first game apart from the fact that the two endings depend on your decision at the beginning of the game which means if you want to see the other ending you have to play the whole game again.
Fun but Konami should stay away from Saw as it has the potential to be good if certain elements are changed. Overall good fun but needs a lot of brain power.
ok firstly ill admit the graphics on this game are very poor, probably on par with the ps2 and the fighting sequences are dreadful, but this game more than makes up for those negatives with the playability. lots of puzzles to do with some awesome death scenes when you fail to save some of jigsaws latest victims. a game where you really have to use a bit of brain power now and then unlike some of the brain dead top titles that are out there at the moment. to anyone who has played the first game, you can pretty much expect the same but with tougher puzzles. theres a good twist at the end of the game that i didnt see coming too.a tip i will give is to play this game on the insane difficulty setting as the normal setting is a little easy in parts.
Being a massive saw fan i thought this game would be spot on but sadly i should always stick to my own golden rule that games from movies are rubbish. The graphics were ok but not as wonderful as the developer hyped them up to be and the controls are simply awful, you start to get chased at one point and i might as well have been blindfolded myself the way the charactor looked like he was being controlled
some may find this a great game and disagree but it is a 1 star from me
Downloaded the demo and what can i say just as bad as the first, graphics are an insult for the ps3. I'm a fan of the saw franchise but this game does no justice at all. Honestly the only thing good about it is the theme everything else is just terrible from the puzzles right down to gameplay. Why theres even a second is beyond me probably worst game of 2010. Saw fans all i can say its up to you but in my opinion the game unsults the saw franchise. Can't believe black ops got slack for graphics, its nowhere near as bad as this. Konami STAY AWAY FROM THE SAW FRANCHISE!!!
I haven't played the first game but being saw fan I picked this up the other day, to be honest I didn't know how they could make a game from this series but I have to say I am really enjoying this game. The graphics are quite good, the puzzles can be challenging and it has the same feel as the films, so I wasn't disappointed. Overall a very entertaining game.
