WOW...
That is the basis of this review
WOW...
Unbelievable, immense action, that would keep your Grandma entertained until kingdom come
I've played this game through the EVIL campaign and completed infamous 1, on both campaigns and it just continues where it left off. Except of course it has improvements. These vital improvements lift it into the same heights that the uncharted series, when it released it's second of the series. Cole Mc Grath is a more enjoyable character to play than ever, he's more powerful, seems quicker and can switch powers with greater ease. New Marais (location) is a fun, well thought out new location, on the first island it utilises your flight and climbing and in the second, a waterlogged area means you need to fight with more strategy (that might involve jumping in the water to kick-ass).
To be honest and fair, infamous 1 was underrated and slated by Xbox fan boys and girls, saying it lives up to nothing in comparison to fable, however really Infamous 2 a Must Buy, I can't think of another game that is so adaptable and thrilling throughout the entire story. infamous 2 has taken PS3 owners by storm and Fable is no competition to the new adventures of Cole Mc Grath. So what are you waiting for go Play it and stop reading reviews to make up your mind, make it up yourself :)

The game play is great, the sound amazing and its content and length are superb. The story in this game is solid, well told and even creepy at times. The only downside to this game is that sometimes you become so overwhelmed with enemies that it becomes a little unfair, so get used to dying a lot at times in the story. This, however, does not ruin the experience of the game. Please note that the game assumes that you have just finished and completed the first infamous. A new comer to series can play and enjoy this game, however they will find a large number of things in the story confusing. These are my thoughts, I do recommend it but before you picking it up make sure to watch some videos and read up about it.

Amazing game with a great deal of replayability

This game exceeds the first Infamous by a great amount. The UGC is great and increases the play time infinitely. The story is extremely engaging, with plot twists and turns and the inclusion of multiple powers also makes gameplay much more entertaining than the first, making you feel much more powerful.
Many reviewers had noted that they have not received the pre-order bonus powers. Play should have sent an email to you containing the redeeming codes which must be entered onto PSN.

  Really, really excellent

Love it. Better than the first game, bigger enemies, characters have more personality, powers are more varied and there are some very cool ones. Only thing that surprised me was that it's actually not very difficult. There are no really tough challenges in the game, especially not the main bad guys. That said, the whole experience is enjoyable, I never lost interest. Finished it taking all the good choices tonight. Now just need to find 2 pigeons (somehow) and play it again taking all the evil choices. Oh, and I had the same problem with the power codes. They were meant to be emailed, but I never got them. I emailed Play and they sent them within a couple of hours.

  Highly recommended, outrageously addictive!

Right the first infamous, i thought was just hugely enjoyable and had a very good story line, very simple to play and hooks you from the start to finish but this is by far the best infamous, I've ever played, full stop. I think a lot of people will agree...? Better graphics, better environment, more thing to do e.g. The online... which I think is just very enjoyable because it's a never ending Circle, doesn't ever get boring.

  Awesome Game

Completed this game and have platinumed it. Game hasn't changed greatly since the original Infamous in terms of controls and layout, just some nice new added features implemented and a much better story line that keeps you entertained for hours.

Also the side quests and the "want" to collect trophy achievements are much more desired imo.

Awesome game overall and no gripes what so ever except from it may be a little on the short side with not to much replayability as I completed it and platinumed it in just over 2 days in the hospital.

  Outstanding sequal

Spoiler Alert! The title prettymuch expresses my thoughts. The first inFamous was an under rated gem and i loved the free - roaming free running electrocuting combinations. This game expands on all fronts - bigger enemies, bigger premise (in that the confrontation with the Beast is at hand and you have a couple super powered companions whose powers are up for grabs) and bigger powers. The stylish finishing moves from the new Amp are also brilliant. In a nutshell: you will not regret buying this game, hours of fun and replayability due to morality choices!

  Brilliant :)

Graphics, gameplay, level design, audio, voice acting and value for money are all in my opinion 9/10 easy.

Great game, all I can say is that you probably wont regret buying this game unless your a bit confused and think its something different.

It feels to me like batman arkham asylum, not the gameplay or story or anything on screen but the feeling I got when I first played it, a feeling that said wow someone in development actually knows what they are doing and have made a really cool- RE-PLAYABLE superhero/villan game. Thats what this feels like, the guys at sucker punch deffinitley deserve a pat on the back for this, considering all the crap some developers release and expect us to pay top dollor for, this really is a game worth your time and money.

Finished my good runthrough last night and it took me 15 hours with all side missions and shard collections, still got to do an evil runthrough but overall if you liked the first game you cant go wrong with this, hell if you like sand box games you cant go wrong with this.

Don't panic about the uncharted 2 beta as it doesnt open until the end of june so the code will work then :)
