Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Platinum)

My brother bought this game about 2 and a half years ago and for some strange reason I never played it until October last year. WOW was I missing out, this game is amazing, the graphics are still incredible, the gameplay is really, really good and the story, well, its probably the best story i've ever seen in a game, and that's saying something. This game is Epic, its an amazing feat of gaming and if you value your existence you will play it. I just so happened to play it right before Uncharted 3 came out, having played that now, although it's also awesome, this is still better and it has to be my favourite game ever.

Very good game, quite fun to play either online and the main story. Recommend it.

just incredible, unbelievably long, incredible graphics great story and sooo addicitive. some funny dialogue in it too.
but the controls bug the hell out of me sometimes. Trying to get onto a ladder can be more work than it should be, and when you are trying to find cover the game has a mind of its own and puts you in the most ridiculous positions. doesnt stop me plying and loving it though.

As a latecomer to PS3, I've played the best games on PC for the last 14 years or so. After my recent switch to playing consoles again, I can confidently say that Uncharted 2 is the best game I've ever played. The graphics, dialogue, characters, set pieces etc... it's all perfect.

As in the first game (I've not played the 3rd game yet), I cared about the characters, as they were charming, witty and realistic. I empathised with them and cheered after they survived every scary encounter.

It took me 18 hours to complete on normal setting (I'm not a treasure hunter... only stumbled across 32 of them) and I found the length to be just right. After the first game, this sequel really shows all the other developer's how it's done. Also, buy this game just to see the best digitial bum on any format... Chloe's behind is perfection personified ;)

As stated, the graphics are amazing... I'd say they look as good as the best PC games of 5 years ago (the time when the console was released of course). But the graphics on PC games were actually really good even 7-8 years ago, so these PS3 graphics still look awesome to me today, and I'm a PC snob who usually sneers at console graphics. This looked and sounded out of this world on my 42" TV.

Overall, a 10/10 game.

This is honestly the reason to buy a PS3. Every aspect of this game has been polished to perfection. The graphics are simply stunning, with gorgeous environments rendered in detail not seen elsewhere. This is a benchmark to which all action games should be compared to as of now.

The game itself owes a lot to Hollywood but unlike most games the voice acting and animation are top notch and the story is so well paced that the game never becomes boring. The gameplay is also very polished with a simple, yet effective control system that allow combat as well as exploration.

To top the package off the game has a rewarding online multiplayer element that can easily take away hours of your life and just adds to the lifespan of an already amazing game.

Overall, you must buy this game if you haven't already and at this price you'd be mad not to!

If you own a PS3 you MUST own this game. I have completed the single player many times and put countless hours into the amazing multiplayer and have still not grown tired of it. This game has to be played to be believed it is simply AWSOME

Never played the first one of this series and can't believe what I was missing out on.
Good for you trophey hunters out there too, after 2/3 play throughs managed to achieve platinum.
At the price it is an absolute steal, very much looking forward the 3rd in the series coming out.

The best PS3 game I have every played. Great story, great controlls, great charecter. The game keeps you intrested from start to finish. I really enjoyed the original Unchared Drakes fortune, but this was amazing. A must buy. Looking forward to. Uncharted 3
