A lot of fun for family and friends

I was (and largely still am) sceptical of casual games but my wife really wanted to get playstation move. Start the party has gone a long to way to changing my mind as with family or a group of friends with a few beers it really is a lot of fun to play. Only downside is that the number of games is fairly low so you'll soon have played them all but for the price it's great value.

  Good game

Some reviews in magazines didn't rate this too highly but i still thought i'd give it a go and i must say it's not bad at all. Doesn't have much longevity to it but to pick it up once in a while it's a fun little game.

A Must Buy For Playstation Move Owners

If you've recently purchased Playstation Move I highly recommend this game. It's essentially lots of minigames but there are many different modes in which to play them. The party mode is the best you can play with 2-4 people and you only need one move remote. You can record your name which plays when its your turn and take a picture to have as your character. I've had it for a couple of days now and I still haven't played all the minigames!

  Age is no limit

Was playing this with another two adult men (in their 30's) on the weekend. There was huge amout of giggling. This is very much one of those enjoyable family, friend and partner friendly games. It is completely harmless but simply and clever at the same time. The PS eye and move work wonders together. I did not give this 5 stars as more mini games would have been better, but this no big deal. Will you play this for days on end? "no". Will you play this on you own? "not much". It really doesn't matter, it's a great game, you'll have loads of fun with your guests and it is worth your money. Male, female, ages 10,20, 30 or 40....it makes not difference here. This will appeal to all.

Move with a smile on your face!

Currently playing with my 4 and 5 year old kids and I have to say how impressed I am with not only the responsiveness of the move controller but also the accessibility of the games. They need little introduction and, whilst some are tricky (parachutes) they zip through and always entertain.

  Super cute, genius party game!

This is the perfect game to get a taste of what's in store for future Move capable games. The whole style is great with good sounds and cute but really slick graphics - amusing for young and old.

The PS Eye camera is used to project the player onto the screen, the Move controller becomes other objects in your hand as if by magic. Looks so cool you will spend ages just waving your hands around in awe!

The games are all brilliant, fast and fun - in each one the Move controller becomes something else; hair clippers where you have to cut a little guy's hair into the style shown, a pizza where you have to catch the toppings as they fall from above, a frog puppet where you press the trigger to get him to stick his tongue out to catch flies, the list goes on!

The PS Eye camera can struggle a little in low light which can effect the picture quality of yourself in the game so best played in a well lit room but it doesn't really effect the fun to be had.

This is a must if you own the Move controllers. It's the game you will put on to demonstrate the Move controllers to your friends and family. Me and my boyfriend love it - and that's saying a lot as his games of choice are usually first person shooters!

  Great collection!

Anyone who buys this game should know what they are buying. Its a collection of small mini games that is best suited to party play. I couldnt give this a bad review. Anyone who loved Roger Rabbit as a kid will be happy they bought this game! Seeing the move controller turned into a cartoon tennis racket, hammer, hair clipper, toothbrush etc is so funny! Movement is perfectly tracked and this game shows what move can do in the future of augmented reality games. There will be people that hate this sort of game but if you have a move and want a bit of fun with the family, look no further. Not for everyone but i highly recommend giving it a go.
