Operating under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors is called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are more than 2 million Americans who proudly wear the uniform, of which some 50,000 fall under the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane above and beyond even this select group. Their exact numbers, while classified, are believed to be in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence.

Medal of Honor's gritty single-player campaign is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators, and gives you the unique ability to step into their boots. Utilize the surgical skill set of these elite warriors -- in combination with the overwhelming force of the U.S. Army Rangers - to infiltrate enemy-held territories in the unforgiving battlefield conditions of Afghanistan. This unparalleled experience offers the most authentic and relevant combat to date.

Getting back to the core of heart-pounding, all-out action, Medal of Honor multiplayer plays out in close quarters where the individual player's skill is the most important tool for survival. Two teams of up to twelve players battle against one another on eight custom maps in the unforgiving mountains, valleys, and cities of Afghanistan. The unique game modes feature modern-day vehicles, realistic destruction, plus a weapon customization system that grants you access to hundreds of combinations of mods. When the battle is over, see how you stack up against other players on the game's skill-specific leaderboards.

Previous to buying Medal Of Honor, i was hearing alot of bad things about this game, how the maps were so small, weren't even levels to level up, not enough kill streaks etc.

Let me just say this... If you buy this game, the handling and gameplay in the Single Player and Multi Player are different. They were developed by two different people, so don't be upset if you don't like the way SP feels, MP is just like Bad Company 2.

Now onto the negative stuff, yeah, some of the maps are small, not as small as most maps on CoD, so why are people moaning, the whole point of smaller maps is to keep the action alive and stop camping! Levelling up, fair enough there is only 15, but it does take a while, considering for the higher Levels it 4800 XP at 10XP a kill, so it's not quick!

Lastly, the killstreaks are perfect, there is no foolish CoD here, it's all-ground combat. No Harriers, no AC-130's, you have to earn rewards.

I'm a HUGE FPS fan, and lately with games like CoD, they just suck.
Medal Of Honor is the best FPS launched in 2010, and for the price of this, it's a bargain!

Don't be a fool!

 Played COD all my life

Now I don't want to compare this with COD but everybody else does so I might as well. I love COD games but I have to say since playing this game through I have loved every minute, sure COD looks nice and plays well but there is something about this game that just makes it feel 'right'. I think because it is just straight up fun and has a lot of variety in the levels. The sound is also simply brilliant and much much better than any COD game I have played, it also has a really gritty realistic feel and look to it all. Give this game a chance and you will not be dissapointed, I'm gutted I waited so long just because IGN gave it a low score..... ignore the reviews and give it a go, it is a really decent fps. Great game in my opinion.

 in a word AWESOME!!!!!!!

this game is so much fun i love it.i love battlefields and love mw1/2.
this is a mix.it works great with the smaller maps than battlefield but bigger than mw.it flows really well and you will find yourself hooked in no time.forget black ops and hit this for the big run up to battlefield 3..........

COD Black ops or MOH? In my personal opinion MOH is the better of the 2, the campaign is shorter but online it is far better.
After playing both I am very pleased that I purchased MOH.
I would recommend it.
