Tomb Raider

I had very high expectations for this game and it's fair to say I was not let down, not even in the slightest. As everyone knows this is an origin story for Lara Croft, but it's certainly not what you'd expect, the game is gritty, violent, and packed with excellent cut scenes, pulse pounding action sequences and a fair share of bad language from even Lara herself. I've played and completed every single TR game to date (yes even the travesties of Angel of Darkness and Guardian of Light) and I think it would be a safe bet that this could top the lot of them, a highly entertaining game. If you're a fan of the series this is a must buy, if you're not a fan of the series...it's still a must buy, the game is pulse pounding from start to finish. If you're looking for comparisons, I'd say Uncharted with a hint of Hitman and some of the older TR entries stuffed in there as well, an excellent buy and is a sure-fire candidate for Game of the Year, certainly Game of the Quarter.

Like a lot of gamers out there i started my gaming journey with the original TR all those years ago, but apart from the first TR i never went back to the follow up games. Shooters and survival horrors are my kind of games so when a friend told me how good TR was i took a chance and OMG i was stunned at how good this game is, everything about it is excellent, from the beautiful graphics to the great gameplay. This version of Lara is more mature,tougher and indeed i never thought i would hear the f word in a TRgame. 30% into it and have been playing for 5 or 6 hours so it looks like a big game. So glad i got this game, highly recommend you get this!!!!!!!

I was wondering to get this one or not cause the others from TOMB RAIDER 4 have let me down but BOY O BOY was i pleased my wife got me this game its really amazing graphics and the game play is smooth and i was really please that the stuff was not so easy to find and there was some puzzles chucked in there to which got you thinking at times I HAVE TO SAY TOMB RAIDER FANS I THINK THIS ONE OF THE BEST THATS BEEN DONE for a long long time thanks to SQUARE ENIX and there team we can say LARA CROFT IS BACK. I also was pleased to see that they had not gone over the top with Lara with her boobs and the way she looks it also made the game real by how dirty she got and how much she screamed out in pain everything was just spot on i have not in joyed a game like this for a long time i was giving up on games because i got sick of war games but now i can not wait for the next TOMB RAIDER and i hope its made by SQUARE ENIX and team because theses guys and girls know what there doing. A must buy game for dedicated tombies and novices, exellent story, great enimies and superb targeting, not too easy but not hard either. The only negitive point is some of the camera angles fustrate but no worse than most games, a quick turn or move often corrects, and a few glitches, getting stuck in the sea or a wall or no wepons seen, only crosshairs. quit and reload fixes this, as there are plenty save points this is'nt a problem. recommended buy .
