Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters

This game is such an improvement from the last one, for starters the trophies make the game have replay value. On Tiger 11 it was such an easy platinum that I hardly played the game, platinumed it then sold it. This one however is completely different, you have to actually play the game to get a trophy. The only downside which is the same with all EA games it the online codes you need, so buying second hand is pointless and also the fact that it only comes with 16 courses with another 20+ to download which you have to pay for if you want them

Overall a great game.

I have not brought a Tiger Woods game since 08 which was brilliant and I played it up until earlier this year.
I decided to get this Tiger Woods as it was half price so thought it should be worth the money.... It is apart from one thing.... THE PUTTING. It is the worst thing about this game the presentation, the graphics, the career mode are all amazing, the caddie is a nice touch but can be a bit annoying after a few rounds, but the presicion putting is awful, I am missing short putts and 3-4 shot putting ruining the enjoyment, just when i think i have got the hang of it I line up a shot and get the power perfect and it goes 2-3 feet past. sort the putting out and it would be the most perfect game!!!

not bad this time round but with all the dlc you can buy on this will keep you going till Tiger 14 or 15

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best version of TW. Ever.

The caddy is a clever addition - but I've learned that you can't always trust his judgement! He probably gets it right 9 times out of 10, so you're unlikely to get a Kevin Na +16 hole...!

This time you can choose your skill level, your caddy's suggestions improve as he becomes more accustomed to each course, and you get a greater thrill when you play a fantastic shot having ignored Mr Caddy!

Add to the wonderful game play the stunning graphics & you have the perfect golf sim - don't listen to the killjoys below, they've probably never experienced a real green in their lives.

This is THE definitive golf game...

This is the same game again. The franchise needs a major overhaul, EA have got lazy and just keep pumping out the same core game with silly gimmics each year.

To buy all the DLC courses will cost you an extra 38pounds (ish) on top of the price. In game purchases add further to this.

This is a cash cow for EA and as much of a fan as I have been of teh series I'm now really fed up having spent more money on this game. Augusta could easily been a DLC course - It doesn't justify yet another 40 pound game purchase.

EA have produced some real quality games over the last year - This is not one of them!!

If you don't own any Tiger Woods games though - This is great!!
Or pick up last years version......theres little real change!!

Ok so Tiger Woods 12 is essentially the same old game ie you play golf....nothing new there.....The game is much more sophisticated from the get go - perhaps due to the focus being on the prestigious masters. Ive played 1 round, and played using the move and the caddie!. For someone who has only played golf on the playstation, then the caddie is useful but still not essential- I could take it or leave it. The move has been nailed at last! great reaction, although on putting, until you get used to it, may seem a little sensitive. Graphics are great! Dont bother with the game face - takes about half an hour to load and the results are not brilliant. Overall I give it 5 stars because its more fun (and infuriating) but actually makes you feel you are playing a round of golf. Oh and dissapointed Lee Westwood isnt on the game!!!!

Having been a huge fan of this franchise over the years, through thick and thin, dalliance and divorce, I was eager to play this latest installment.
I am genuinely saddened to say the needless changes made to the previously fine control system has rendered the game virtually unplayable. Having looked forward to this release for some time I am part dissapointed a potential classic has been ruined, and alot angry at those responsible. A phrase exists-'if its not broke dont fix it'. Someone should tell this to the people at EA Sports.
Oh, and one last thing! The caddy is one of the most infuriating people to have ever passed into my existance. Diabolical

this game is terrible dont buy its worse than the other ones its so boring its unreal how bad it really is the online is terrible and really laggy dont buy it!!!

Finally.....Finally....Finally, Augusta has come to Tiger Woods!!!, A good game great graphics and a realistic progression mode, my one little gripe is the Caddy (he's not the best) so do it yourself turn him off and love the king of games.

I have played the demo and it is awesome all the move has been revamped works a treat and the game play and ball physics are spot on down the middle.
