I had to get this game and give it a go after coming across the 1st darkness as a cheap bargain on play.com and absolutely loving it. it had to be one of the best and quite original FPS id played in a while. it was realistic graphically and the storyline was excellent and the gameplay was superb. a very enjoyable game all round. the 2nd however is quite the opposite. i didnt really get that far into the game before i stopped playing it completely, i didnt get that buzz where you want to see how the game develops at all and to be honest it was just an average shooter that didnt leave me wanting to come back for more, big let down. such a shame!!

Well seems as though i enjoyed the first darkness outing i had to get this sequel. I must say that it certainly didn't disappoint in the art and sound departments, it does look great and the sound and voice acting is very good too. My only main complaint about the game is nearly the same as the last darkness and that is the multiplayer aspect of the game really doesn't fit that well, also this time round the single player campaign is a little to short compared with the first darkness game. The game is a good sequel though and has some great moments that are definately worth checking out.

Great game for 20 euros it has online co-op and 4 weapons on screen on campaign. The blinding lights every 2 seconds on multiplayer made me put this game back on the shelf.

  Great game for the price

My girlfriend bought me this as I played the first one years ago. It 's better than the first one and although the graphics are not as good as some of the newer games out there, it 's just so damn enjoyable being The Darkness. Gameplay and sound are very good and at twenty pounds it really is worth buying at this price.

Good but the first was better

Great game but should of been much longer like the first. The new cartoon style graphics look amazing when your tearing someone apart and really does make everything 'pop' out of the screen, but for me the whole thing seemed less serious than the first, and with it being so short I just dont think its worth the price I paid, Which is why today im going to be trading it in for Uncharted 3 :)

its good but not as good as the first

well let me start by saying i did enjoy this game good story lots of gore sound effects of the guns shooting was awsome lots of upgrades all in all good gameplay now for 2 things not so good the graphics are cartoon like which kinda put me off in the first darkness it was more real and the online gameplay is ok but gets old quick.
