FIFA 12: Special Edition

The Defence system was not broken so i see no need in trying to fix it!!!! You can only change it back for offline modes. Made this highly anticipated game completley un-enjoyable!!! Save your money and stick with fifa 11

If you like football games where you just hold down a button and let the computer do the work (like the reviewer below does) then DO NOT buy this game. However if you want to be part of this ultimate footballing experience then make the purchase!
EA Sports have made a phenomenal game, taking another huge leap into making Fifa the dominant game. They took a risk this year by changing the feel of the game in the way you defend and attack. Did the risk pay off? MASSIVELY! The gameplay feels amazing and you have to do a lot more work and concentrate fully to earn a victory. It's a bit tricky at first, but once you're used to it you'll be playing it non stop!

Season mode has been revamped and is a lot better and transfer deadline day is great!
Online mode has also been changed and seems a lot better. Haven't come across any quitters yet which is always good!
One of the most impressive additions is the 'Support your club' feature where you gain points for everything you do on the game. You can then view where you rank on a table to other players.
Challenge mode is also a new and enjoyable feature. You'll get given challenges, for example... You'll be Arsenal, 1-0 down against Spurs with so many minutes to go and you have to win by 2 goals. If you do it, you get the points!
All that along with little things that have been added, like quick throw ins, drop ball, seeing every substitute stood on the touchline when making more than 1 and slightly better graphics makes this a simply sublime football game! GET IT!

Ok we can all say FIFA 11 was the nuts RIGHT!!
so this year had to be even better WRONG!!
what has EA done to this game, i have played FIFA from the start. when it was on the mega drive and so on, all i can say is this year is a let down. Ive turned the new defending off cos it is rubbish and gone back to legacey settings which turns it back to fifa 11 with the added extras of fifa 12. Wished i saved my money.
online well if i could get on that would be a start, when i do get on to play my m8s it dont connect

This game is a way better of FIFA 11, this game worth the money, cause a new kind of features in game,make it the best soccer simulator, PES PLEASE.... Fifa rules since 06.

the defending is so bad its unreal i tryed to get with the game after spending hours on end with it but you just get frustrated its so easy to score and your defence lets in goals so easly ok for example i am 3-0 up haltime and the the player beats u 4-3 and when you try to get the ball its just impossible safe your money and get someting else the graphics are mint so is gameplay but te defence system lets the game down big time dont buy the game stay with 11 untill fifa 13 lets hope ea dont have this woe full defence system in fifa 13 would give it a 5 star instead of 1 because of the defence
