Big Boss has stations his "Soldiers without Borders" in Columbia, South America, where he was approached by a visitor from Costa Rica, (a nation without a military). Players take control of the famed Naked Snake at a critical junction in modern history. Yes you read correctly 5! not only do you get MGS2, MGS3 & Peace Walker, but you also get Metal Gear & Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake!
The HD upgrade is fantastic FULL SCREEN sequences, pin sharp and BETTER than they where before!
MGS2 is actually MGS2 Substance & MGS3 is MGS3 Subsistence with the 3D camera, Ape missions and lots of European bonuses.NOTE: Review of US copy (Tho unlikely to be different)

Easily 5 starts, metal gear solid is truley the greatest games i have ever played and now we have the chance to reply in HD. Its a shame they didn't include Metal Gear Solid to complete the collection but other then that truley amazing! and a definate buy.

i have been a massive metal gear fan since it came out on ps1 and have hunted high and low to find snake eater for less than 60 pound, no joke some people are selling that single game for that price on PS2 but to have 5 games in one for the price of 1 playstation game these days is amazing, best series of gaming ever with an amazing story line and its the first time ave played peace walker and its outstanding to say the least, can not wait for metal gear solid 5 which will be out in about 2-3 years hopefully

Having followed the MGS series from Playstation one, and a bit of the 2D world of Metal Gear from before that aswell, i was eager to see how the new HD remastering would alter the game. The answer.... In no way what so ever. You don't fix what isn't broken. In relation to additional content Konami have added trophies as an incentive to locate every dog tag, and shoot down every single Kerotan Frog. All in all, the MGS collection is a must buy for any gamer, gripping storyline, these games are like watching a movie, only you control the characters.
