FIFA 12

Really Big improvement i think on fifa 11. a lot more realistic and despite it being a lot harder, especially defending its all about the realism! the defending just takes a little bit of getting used to. worst thing about it, the songs! but thats not enough to knock it down from a 5 star review

ok lets start with the changes and how they effect play remember here am still learning the game took me 6month with FIFA 11 to play to the very high standard I reached.
A lot find the tactical defending complicated but in my view it changes the pace of the game in real football you use hold up players and watch for of the ball runs and the new precision dribbling is in reality a shield the ball option that allows the game to play in my opinion like a real simulation .
Pes fans have always said leave FIFA for the kids etc but now the complexity of this game and depth must have them eager to as I did make the change.
I still am poor with the shooting but i do play on manual I like to know I am decieding everything as well as the player I control speaking of which you do feel the differences with various players.
The impact engine does not make a great change to the playability but you should do the following watch match of the day then play a game does it represent the game as it plays in reality is the pace the same as eal football etc the answer is FIFA is a close to perfect simulation and I wonder what the PES fans think to see how arcade like there game looks when they compare ot to this masterpiece

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! I would rate it zero stars if I could! I am a BIG FIFA fan, have been all my life. I don't know what they were thinking with this version but it is truly awful! I'm not the greatest in the world, but not am I a complete moron, which this game makes you out to be! Don't think you'll get a fair game at all - you won't! You can't attack as it insists on you passing the ball anywhere but where you direct it, and should you ever get through on goal, you'll likely think an open goal is a gimme - it's not, it'll still make you try and hit the corner flag! Defending is atrocious, the new system is completely crass - you will not be allowed to defend, tackle, speed up (attacking or defending!), and 50-50 headers are likely to go 100-0 in the CPUs favour! I bought this game being an avid fan and dismissing negative reviews I'd read, but now I've played, I can't believe I've wasted my money! Shame on EA! No redeeming factors! You have been warned!

I think EA have tried to do to much to this years addition, they have tried to make dribbling more precise but it has actually worsened, Fifa 11 dribbling was fine. The new defensive system is not very good takes a lot of time to get used. All in all actually quite disappointed.

This year after believing all the hype surrounding FIFA 12 I thought I'd try it for a change, big mistake. Come on, playing a football game is about sticking it in when you have a spare 20 - 30 mins or you've got the lads round and FIFA is just too serious and zaps the fun out of it. For me it has zero playability as it's just too hard. Having played the Pro Evo demo for comparison and it's way better and more fun. I'll be sticking to the Pro Evo's from now on.
