Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a fine tribute to the original game of 2000 - Deus Ex.
It takes the brilliant cyber-punk, film-noir, Blade Runner-esqe atmosphere that works so well, with a gripping storyline that sucks you in right from the moment you watch the opening sequences.
Admittedly, the graphics are not cutting edge, but to be honest, they are beautifully done, and seem to work well for almost paying tribute to the original by not being latest generation. On a high def TV, they look absolutely great visually, and the gameplay is a mix of Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid and Tenchu and it's so great sneaking around and taking out guards etc.
It has a 'Game of the Year' contender written all over it.
