Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is a heart-warming tale of a young boy called Oliver, who embarks on a journey into a parallel world to become a magician in an attempt to bring back his recently-deceased mother. Along the way Oliver encounters many new friends who help him learn and grow. He can also befriend the wonderful creatures that inhabit this parallel universe, turning them into pets that Oliver can raise and collect a whole menagerie of. Why, he can even use these critters to battle other creatures on his behalf! Join Oliver as he explores the vast new world and faces a variety of formidable enemies.

The unique fantasy adventure that is Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is being developed by LEVEL-5, the studio behind the smash hits Dragon Quest 8 and 9, and the Professor Layton series. For the game's characters and animations, LEVEL-5 collaborated with the legendary Studio Ghibli, the team responsible for countless anime masterpieces including My Neighbour Totoro, Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away. The in-game music comes from the hand of Joe Hisaishi, the composer of the scores to over 100 films including many of Studio Ghibli's greatest productions.

In the game, the beauty of Studio Ghibli's hand-drawn animation has been perfectly reproduced, with the cel-shaded graphics engine producing stunning real-time animations of a quality normally only seen in their industry-leading feature films. In addition, Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch on PlayStation 3 brings a wealth of new content to the Ni No Kuni universe, with an additional cast of mysterious characters to meet, new areas to explore, and a whole different perspective on the involving story.

  • Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch is being localised with English or the original Japanese voiceover, with English subtitles included as an option.

This game is amazing! It is without doubt the best game I've played in years, and I've played skyrim! It is like kingdom hearts, Pokemon, final fantasy, tales of and wind waker all mixed together. graphically its awesome, the story is like no other and was by studio ghibli! (spirited away, kikis delivery service, howls moving castle etc...) It is well worth the price as it will keep you hooked for weeks, and months if you are a completionist :)

Finally a RPG that lives up to an Original Standard!

Ni No Kuni is an "Outstanding Role-Playing game!" But I will make a point. If you're the type of person that prefers going into a battlefield guns blazing, slinging bullets without having to think, chances are Ni No Kuni really isn't for you. But if you're a lover of the old school RPG's like the big hit Final Fantasy series, then Ni No Kuni is the answer to all your prayers.

Ni No Kunis art design was managed and created by the masters Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind) and boy do they give this game some great visuals.
The game plays like any old school RPG, with a turnbased battle systems, although being able to move your character freely upon the battlefield. In this game there are Familiars that you can catch and level up to become stronger.
I could go on.. but its just too good, and i don't want to give anything away, just give this a try.

I payed £40 for this on release and tbh i'm really happy with my purchase. If you can pick it up any cheaper you got yourself a steal. The games story takes 40 hours to complete. But a lot longer if you wish to do the side quests. Hope this helps.
