is the same as the normal ps3 slim but in a very nice sparklyish red. it is definatly the best colour ps3 i have. bought the product for 239 pound which i thought was great value as it was only 10 pound more than the black console. plus you recive an extra controller. both the controller included are the same colour as the console, not the red controllers that have been for sale for ages. overall its very good value, looks nice, and impresses your friends.
Totaly quiet console, looks great and even better than the boring black slim model. Buy this very cool console without any 2nd thoughts.

Very quiet machine. Updated from the original 60GB PS3 which was getting very hot and noisy. I didn't realise the new ps3 slim has only 2 usb ports and no SD card slot. Slightly annoying as I used the SD card slot all the time. Will be purchasing a usb SD card reader instead to plug into the usb port.
Anyway, the machine is VERY red, I thought it would be a nice dark red but it is more like the photo on the white background than the one on the box. It's super quiet, stays cool and no problems so far (bought last week on a Wednesday night and it arrived Friday morning). Has a shimmer effect to the plastic in the light. Also the indicator lights are very small and unobtrusive which is better than the old fat model's bright lights.
I'm very happy with it, just a shame they took the SD slot away!
