Not as bad as they say!

Well, apart from a few balancing issues and artillery being almost useless, it's a fun game - It's just a little different to your STOCK Gundam games.
This game requires tactics, strategy and cunning rather than the triggerhappy hack and slash that the previous titles have demanded. If you run forward like an idiot, you WILL get damaged.

Like I said, there's a few balancing issues - The Zaku II and IIS type are too far apart in stats, and the Easy mode is a terrible struggle at first, but other than this and a curious inability to shoot down aircraft, it's a fairly solid title.

An online patch could fix these things if they ever bother to make one, but it's still a decent game with a little replay value without any fixes. I'd value it as worth 20-25 quid.

Possibly the worst game on the PS3

I could go on and on about how bad this game is. But it isn't worth my time. ignore it completely don't even buy to settle your curiosity on "is it as bad as everyone says" just skip it and buy dynasty warriors gundam you will be getting a much better Gundam and game experience altogether.

For the love of your god, do not waste your money!

Where to start?

This game is positively awfull! It has absolutely no good points.
I usualy do a point based system to review games, but this doesn't warrent it.

Okay, to be honnest, the graphics aren't awfull, the fact it's got giant robots is a decent attraction, everyone loves riant robots.
And it's Gundam, I'm a big Gundam fan.

It's titles like this that scare people away from Animé games, thus sales go down and we never see the good ones released here.

I felt violated after 3 seconds of play.
This game is the single reason they don't do full refunds on non-faulty games.

The controls are awkward, slow, unresponsive and anoying.
The game play is awkward, slow, unresponsive and anoying.
The sound is awkward, slow, unresponsive and anoying. The visuals are...
...well you get the point.

On the technical side this game may look decent from a glance but doesn't push the PS3s graphics realy that hard, but it still suffers from unexplainable, extremely jittery framerate issues, and not just in "hi-detail" areas, ALL THE TIME!

Without a doubt, this is "THE" worst thing to recive the title "video game" ever, and not just for the PS3, in all of the digital entertainment history.

If I could give this "0" (Zero) Stars, I would.
I'm going to go as far as saying I'd give it minus numbers because of the fact even if you trade it you've lost money and haven't even got a semi-worth-while experience to claim for it.

If you thinking;
"oh well, I've had games that had bad scores before and they turned out okay. I'll give this a chance".

Stop right there! I did that, and I definitly regret it.

I have warned you.
