Official Sony Blu-ray Remote Control (PS3)

The remote has a very study feeling to it, and both looks and feels as if it could take a real beating. The fact that it doesn't use IR to transmit the signal lets you point the controller in any direction and still control the PS3, unlike conventional TV remotes. The only negative aspect of the remote is the design, it's built for durability which means that it isn't that good looking. All in all a great buy for anyone who uses their PS3 as a Blu-ray player.

An excellent Sony product.
You can turn the PS3 on and off with it so no need to use the controller. All the functions work perfectly including an Angle button which doesn't appear on some top blu-ray models.
No volume control unfortunately but that doesn't cause an issue. You'll have the remote for the TV anyway.
A good solid remote control that does exactly what it should do.
Highly recommended if you like to watch films on your PS3.

I got this to play blu ray on my PS3 it work fab it do as the discription said & it was cheepest place to buy from as in local shops it was higher priced i had it in the deal from play im happy with this object & i would say any one with PS should have one .

what can i say but great, it takes less than 20 secs to set up as soon as you have set up thats it perfect simple but perfect

This is a most for anybody who wants the best from there Playstation. I use it for watching the T.V. (with PLAY T.V.) and watching & controlling Blue-Rays. Its easy to work, and the battery's have lasted over a year so far. Dose not need a dodel like cheap remotes.

Not much more to say about this remote. It does the job perfectly. If like me, you keep the remote by you when watching films, no more accidental fast forwards from dropping the controller off the bed or picking it up. Gets rid of the sensitive shoulder button problems.

Great much easier and quicker to use than your game remote.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Comfortable buttons is a plus.

Bought it as part of the two for 25 deal - can't ask for much more from a remote thats suppose to control the play/pause/fast forward/etc features of a dvd/blu-ray.
Only down part is it looks a bit chunky and feels kind of cheap, apart from that does what its made to...
