 Ideal for mech fans!

If your a fan of the previous games you'll love this one.
They've sorted out the controls so it's easier and quicker to get around and it doesn't take long to get used to the controlls, so it won't be long before you can start kickin arse online!.
For first time players it's easily one of the best games on the PS3 yet. It's fast, it's sexy and it's online mode is highly addictive especially on the 8man free for all mode! With a huge array of weapons and constuction parts you can completely customise your AC's and even use your own insignia so it's completely unique!
Feel i should point out unless your a mech fan this game may dissapoint but, it's garunteed to be better than that failure gundam game and that dodgy transformers game thats due out soon!
The only down side i have with it, is that the single player does not last very long and there arent that many people online (at least when i've played it that is)! Other than that it's great!

 Awsome

I'm a fan of the armoured core series and I have played almost all the games on previous consoles starting from the originals on the PS1. I have to say although there has been changes from the previous games this is one of my favourite in the series to date.

Gone are the days of slow, clunky walking mechs bring on the new fast paced, smooth moving action which in my opinion is probably the best thing the creators did. This is shown on the water levels most as you get to glide over the water at high speed whilst blasting everything in sight.

Another improvement which made a nice change was getting rid of all that data around the screen. Ok most of this was optional in the first place but it's nice to just be able to dive into the game without having to toggle them on and off. This also means you get the change to view and admire your surroundings in full without the distractions.

The games graphics are good as well your treated to some nice sceneries but it's the graphics on the mechs themselves that make the graphics of the game stand out.

The problems I do have with the game is that it was pretty easy and over far too quickly, and again it could just be me but it felt as there wasn't much to choose from in terms of parts for your mechs it felt as though in previous games you had much more option.

If you're a fan of the previous games you might be thrown a bit by the new style but if you stick at it you'll see how fun the game can be. If you new to the armoured core games then this is a great, fun experience to kick start you into series.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

Dont Take Other People's Opinions Seriously!

Other reviews are slating this game but dont take them seriously! This might be your thing if you like other mech games like pervious Armored Core games and Zone of the Enders.

The only way you'll find out if you like it is by downloading the demo off the PS Store and trying it for yourself.

Alot better than the rest of the series

If you've been a fan of the pervious armored core game than you will love this one. You dont get all the information taking up all of the screen, its alot more compact and in one place. Energy is almost unlimited, it will only drain when in the air so when boosting along the ground it wont run down. Maps are alot larger and better, you can create up to 100 AC's instead of 3 or 5 plus loads more new features.
A downside is that the storyline is a bit hard to follow and building an AC is a bit more complex than earlier games.
