I never properly played the first one so i couldnt miss out on this, and i love it. I still havent completed the story and ive had it for a couple of weeks now and the online play is fun although you cannot make your own gang so 4* for me, but defo buy it!!
Old skool GTA driving and really interactive environment

If you expect another GTA4 then you're going to be dissappointed but if you're after a really awesome configurable sand-box with the old-skool driving of previous GTA games then this is for you.
On top of that its great to swap from looking like a hard-core wise guy one minute to a foxy chick the next and then on to a hip-hop gansta after that!
The combat engine is really good, pretty much everything you see lying around can be used as a weapon and instead of lining up to fight you one at a time (like the 'baddies' in a lot of games do) these dudes circle you and take pots shots while you are trying to lay into someone else.
The missions I've done so far have been pretty ordinary, but you don't care as you're having far too much fun causing carnage!

I love this game i've played this and GTA4 and I hate to this say GTA fans (me being one myself) this wins hands down this is so much more detailed with most of the things that san andraes had that was sadly omitted from GTA 4 the customisation is endless lol and the way u upgrade properties etc is absolutly amazing both games have a great storyline but this has far more depth what u see in this game is what I thought gta 4 would have with bell on especially after San Andreas on the PS2 being such a great game sorry Rockstar but u've let urselves down with GTA4 Saints Row 2 has all the things that were missing volition keep up the good work and Rockstar better luck next time great story but u missed the ball!!!
