Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Great Game play, great graphics, great online multiplayer, each online map is amazing for everthing!

And your probably thinking why put this on four years later after the release date! Well I went on it a few hours ago and its by far the best Call of Duty from WaW, Mw2 and Black ops in my point of view!
Would definitely recommend if you haven't played it before!

The main reason I have followed Call of Duty is down to this game. I think the reason why World at War was not received as well as others was due to the fact that it followed this game (obviously different programmers as well).

The anticipation is building towards Modern Warfare 3, however if you want a preview of what it might be like - this game, as well as MW2 will give you that insight.

this was the first game i had on ps3, and it blew me away, sensational both offline and online. definate must have, the graphics are unreal.

Got this back in 08/09 and i havnt played a single game as much as i have with this. The story has some great structure and a real life feel. If you think this is 3 years old! you cant tell. Multiplayer has been described as the best in the world and i can see why. With a wide variety of guns and attachments it gets addictive, trying to upgrade your weapons to suit your style (gold shotgun and magnum are hard to get though!). Great for these snowed in days ! but i have to say it is extreamly addicitve so dont buy if you like going outside at all! no good game a must buy for ps3 especially

I love FPS's and recently only Halo3 & BioShock have impressed me but then I got this and it blows both of them out of the water, I don't want to stop playing it even after completing it, if you want the complete FPS experience buy this, great graphics and great gameplay. Just great.

i love this game it was the first cod i played.i was very content with online and at times thought it was unreal. when i went to bed i couldnt stop thinking about it.i cant write this review without mentioning the sound track and campaign. i thought mw2s music was recycled wannabe batman music but cod4s music is very eerie kinda depressing music which cant be put into a catagory and suits the story very well. the campaign was brilliant and short which isnt always a bad thing the ending is crushing and unforgetable but one thing why are the russians always bad and the bastrd americans good

To be honest, I don't really need to say much about this. Most CoD games are fantastic, and this isn't any different. When this came out, it was ground breaking. War in modern times hadn't been done before, and this game truly filled a gap in the market. I can't really fault this game at all.

This game seriously is one of the best of its genre!

I absolutely loved it..

The positives:

-Excellent gameplay
-Fantastic character voices.
-All missions are brilliant and somewhat make you want to keep playing!

The negatives:

-Very short for a shooter.
-No bots in multiplayer mode so it is just you versus your friend - 1 on 1.

Overall, I would recommend this game as it really is one of the best shooters I have ever played!

Never played online games before. After this i brought a HDtv and have never looked back. This the greatest game i have ever played.

no game comes close to this. apart from modern warfare 2 which is even better. most addictive game you will ever play. be warned if your in a relationship you wont be much longer after purchasing this.lol. buy now and join the millions that are online!!!!!!!!!!
