Need For Speed: ProStreet

not one of the best game from the need for speed series but is a ok game.

This is my least favourite N4S title to date. The major flaw is that they took out the free roam which has been in most of the other good N4S titles like Most Wanted. The tracks are ok at first but after the 3rd or 4th time you've driven them they just become boring and much much too repetitive, 50% of the time you're driving in the desert - where have the inner city routes gone, weaving in and out of traffic? I applaud EA for having a go at doing something different with the franchise but they went a little too far with this one. The only reason it got two stars is because the cars are nice and detailed and customization is always fun :)

After loving NFS Undercover I was really looking forward to this game and it's got nothing in common with it... even the graphics are worse!. I was quite surprised that they were gonna do this as I much prefer NFS in a sandbox game that is when it's at it's best and this game proves that.

The good points are that it has plenty of cars and loads of different things you can do to it such as painting it 3 colours that look awful together. Also the controls aren't the same as every other NFS.
But that's it as I really just wrote this to complain about the game!.
It has the most boring tracks ever in NFS and it feels as though there's only five as you go round the same ones over n over. I wouldn't mind that if they were nice to look at but they aren't it's just green everywhere. There's absolutely no cities in this game.The music doesn't help how tedious this game is, you'll want your own as there's not many songs and they are pretty rubbish really. Another thing that's pretty rubbish is the AI. They can be so stupid at times and some races you'll beat them by a lap!. Other problems with the game is that there's not enough of a mixture of things to do, it's just time trials and races over and over.

So in sort only buy it if you are desperate... Which I was when I bought it and I still sold it quickly.

Its not as bad as it sounds. Buts its not amazing either.

It'l give you some fun in singleplayer. Multiplayer is rubbish. Split screen lowers frame rate to about 0.

Good old EA...

Good for your first couple of turns but it gets boring the more you play. They should have new events or new cars because it'll make it better.

Some may say it is the best of the series, others will say its the worst. I say its awesome and is worth the money, graphics are good, soundtrack is good and a new selection of nice fast cars make this game exciting.

This game is good value for money and another game to add to the collection but if I had paid full price for this game I would of given this 1 star.

The graphics are ok but no way compete with Gran Tourismo.

I have played other Need for Speed titles and I think is the worst one I have played. So far I have not found an option to roam free like you do in Need for Speed Underground and you are unable to customise your vehicle with body kits and paint jobs. There is a nice feature where you can damage the car but it is nothing compared to Burnout and soon becomes limited.

I have only played this for about 3 hrs and am already bored with it and I only hope it might get better, but at the moment I have better titles to enjoy.

If you are looking for a standard racing game then I would say get this due to the price but dont expect anything amazing.

Basically i dont know what people are moaning for? This is an amazing game, at first given i did not like it much. Actually took it back and swapped for assassins creed (amazing game btw) but i got it again of a friend and gave the game a chance, i got into it and it is wicked. The driving is realistic, which can be infuriating when your used to your car running at top speed, turning when u tell it to turn without skidding. But what crashes, i crash mine for fun:d. N at 15 quid a pop u cant go wrong. Trust me invest in the game, u can always get a refund if u dont like it :)

I really like this games cause:

1) There's a wide variety of cars
2) Many different types of races
2) Best tuning ever
3) Really good graphics!!
5) The car can be damaged

The only thing i don't like is that it gets boring racing all the time cause there's no freeroam

Overall, for its price this is a really great game !!!!
