This is a review for the special edition extras, check the game on its own for my review in a few days.
My copy just arrived at work this morning and I was eager to open the parcel to get to the box inside.
First off, the package is all held inside a card box with a large peice of official art over it, but its whats inside thats important.
The first thing you will see is the metal safe-deposit box, with the games logo embossed on the lid. The keys to lock it are inside the box, though the keys dont fit in properly, you only have to stick the tip in to turn the lock. That aside, the metal box is very sturdy, and will do a good job of protecting whatever you put inside.
Putting the game aside, you'll find a card envelope with 'The music of Grand Theft Auto VI', which holds a selection of the songs used in the game. It has a nice seceltion, but I was surprised it wasnt put into an actual CD-case.
Next is 'The art of Grand Theft Auto VI' which has a mix of things. Along with including various in-games shots, promotional art and images from the development of the game, it also contains a few sections of text, talking about what the creators experienced when preparing to make the game and what they had to face when bringing the series to the new console generation. Probably the best part of the extras.
Along with this, you'll find the keychain with the Rockstar logo, its a fairly chunky piece and is nicely made, very nice to hang your keys from.
Finally, the duffel bag, when you pull it out of the box, it may see a little small, but once you unfold it and open it up fully, its actually a rather nice size. Its made from some decent material and comes with a shoulder-strap that you can clip-on, wear it with pride!
In all, this package is quite fantastic, and is well worth the extra £30. Theres no other special edition like it, so get it while you can!
