This game is so addictive. From start to finish you cant put the controller down.
Great story, sound, graphics and controls all 8/10.
Buy it, at around £20, its a no brainer.

This game is awfull...even worse than conflict denied ops, and that was a disaster!

The controlls are bad, the graphics are bad, the entire plot is bad! Everything in this games cries out BAD!!!

Even thinking about it makes me want to kill the maker of this awfull, crappy little game!!! BAD GAME!!! VERY BAD GAME!

2 stars because the idea is interesting, how the world would be different if churchill died.

This has to be the worst game I've played on the PS3 so far. The graphics are poor but that's not where the problem lies. The biggest problem is it's so annoying. The aiming system is just awful! I bought it because it was only 15 quid. It was a great idea but poorly executed, you'd be better off buying the 2 original medal of honour games for the PS1. The gameplay is 10 times better.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Its worth a go........

Ok so its no CALL OF DUTY and the graphics are a reminder of why we sold our PS2s but for all the faults the game has it makes up for it with the underlying story. NAZIS in the USA who ever thought up the idea for Turning Point is a genius. The next game in the series has a lot to make up for but as long as the storey stays as good you can put up with the bad graphics.
The game play is good but agian the next gen console must of been left of the list while in production as the handling of the controls is bad the auto aim feature doesnt seem to work at all and the fact you need 20 shots to kill the nazis is totally unreallaistic but for all the bad points (and there are a lot) the game has a good foundation and it is worth playing at least once just for that story.

Oh and you get to blow up the WhiteHouse. Now who says games are corrupting our youth.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars A fantastic idea but poorly executed.

What if, just what if the Nazis had won the Second World War. That's the idea behind Codemaster's Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. The Third Reich having conquered Europe and the UK, turn their sights to the US with an invasion of New York. This alternative reality set in the 1950s after Hitler's armies were victorious puts a different spin on the WW2 FPS genre but could have been so much better in so many ways.

Good points:

1) Great original concept. Terrifying when you think it could have happened.
2) Fantastic score. The music adds to the tension and fits the themes of the game.
3) Good choice of weapons from side arms to machine guns, sniper rifles to RPGs.
4) Excellent opening scene with the Nazi invasion of New York.
5) Erie scenes of the Chrysler Building lying in ruins, the White House draped in Swastika banners and a giant Nazi airship moored to the side of Tower Bridge in London.

Bad points:

1) Graphics look like a PS2 game, clearly not next-generation.
2) Poor hit detection and gun recoil. Want to shoot someone in the head? Aim at their feet!
3) No unique deaths. Enemies die the same way whether they're shot with a pistol or a bazooka.
4) Invisible walls stop you from going places you should be able to.
5) Bad AI. Sometimes you can stand right next to an enemy soldier and he still won't notice you.
6) In-game loads are often with frequent screen freezes.
7) Almost no interaction with other characters. It's just you and your gun against the world.
8) Only 3 levels. New York, Washington DC and London. You need to play the game on the hardest setting to get any length out of it.
9) Lame finish where the game suddenly ends with a black screen then the credits roll.

It's a real shame because this game could have been so much better if the power of the PS3 had been used to full effect by the creators. A game that could and should have been one of the best FPS to date just feels like another shoot-em-up you've played before.

Customer rating: 1 out of 5 stars one word, poor.

How many more of these games are going to keep coming out on the playstation 3?. They are substandard to say the least, this game is brutal if you bought it. You play the first few missions and whoah, i was thinking why the hec i paid so much for such a "last generation" game, to fork out over £500 on the ps3 last year, surely we should be expecting more from the games? don't buy this game, bad graphics, the a.i is hilarious - the enemy run round like headless chickens half the time. rent dont buy, or stick to cod4 :p

Not enough levels, graphics are ok but could have been so much better and the ai is rally bad. It reminded me of the games back in the early 90's in terms of design. This is definately one to put on your birthday list to get as a gift but I wouldnt spend my own money on this game, its a renter for sure though

The glitches and poor level design don't quite ruin a game that should have been so much more than the sum of its parts. Still, there's some fun to be had here with a weekend rental.
