This game is a must have title, been taking part in the beta tests for it and I'm blown away by some peoples imagination every time I play it. Not played anything as fun and original in a very very long time.
My pre-order is firmly staying and I can't wait until I get the full release version.
Buy this if you don't buy another title this year, 10/10, a classic!

  Feel better for BETA !!

Although i have only played the beta (and am very gratefull for the beta key!) i state;
'This is currently one of the best and most genius games i have ever played'
Firstly it is immensly simple to just pick up and play after the smooth and brillaint instructional vidoes by stephen fry, who may i say lend an amazing voice over throughout the game. The unlockables are of a vast scale , even in the beta there are enough to keep me playing for hours and hours on end, and each one can be made into something else such as making a matchbox into a veichle, by adding two bottletops and a few bolts and your cruisng down a ramp with your online buddy's.
Which then leads me to the online capabilities of the game such as create your own level , publish it online and then play in it with other players. The level editor equals the capability of the story mode, well what few levels i have played.
So there it is , i gotta say this is shaping to be my game of the year and even could be my all time favorite game.

  Game on

Yeah i managed to play it at PAX 08 a couple of times and its as charming and as fun as it looks. Plus from seeing some of the vids already popping up of what people have created (for example a fully working version of tetris using jet packs) theres no end to the creativity and originality of this game. The only "essential" game of this winter.

  Little Big Bundle Of Joy!

Having been granted a Beta key I have been enjoying what can be no less than a total refreshment to entire gaming franchise.

Little Big Planet is an absolute joy to play, with really imaginative levels not only by the creators but by everyone who plays the game too! Ranging from Bank Heists, Sackboy Tetris, to Rocket Skateboard races the possibilities really are endless when it comes to Little Big Planet.

Stephen Fry narrates this game and it has to be said that he does a perfect job of capturing the Little Big Planet vibe and delivers a mighty fine performance.

For creating a level, you simply use the tools which you obtain by playing the game. They include really helpful tutorials so it reduces the chances for you to go wrong and it's a great introduction into understanding how to create new and exciting levels and items.

To me this is the game that will want people buying a PS3 for. A great game for children and adults alike this game will be around for an incredible length of time.

Many thanks to Media Molecule and Sony for developing a truly wonderful game.

  The defining PS3 title!

Having been invited to play the beta of LBP I can say with confidence that this game will appeal to all types of players, casual, creative & hardcore alike. Whether you like to play or create, LBP has everything you need from quirky humour ala Stephen Fry or Sackboy/girl to easily accessible but extremely powerful tools to edit & create your own levels.

What Media Molecule have done with LBP is to say "here's the tools, build it yourself", in doing so they have enabled everyones imagination to run wild and effectively made every player a game designer.

Mark my words, this will be Game of the Year.

Great stuff, get it or be disappointed. I'm going back to the beta now, can't stop playing.....
